I work part time at Shoppers and they gave me this envelope. I opened it and i see that its 4 mini sheets that are called "W-2 wage and tax statement". I have no idea what to with these and i'm not even sure if i'm required to do this. Naturally when i think of tax return, I think of all the reductions they made in my pay because of taxes, so would I be getting those reductions back?

so my uncle back then took my ipod for who knows what. i bought it myself with my own money for $300. im a graduated senior now but were not on good terms and we probably wont be ever. what can i do if he refuses to give it back? or if it doesnt work? it was a month old when he took it and its been quite a while and i doubt the battery works now. what can i do to make sure i get it back? idk if police will help with this.

so there was this Microsoft Vision video on youtube and I watched it and these new gadgets and electronics were amazing. I would love to be a part of the group that MAKES these new products that can make everybody's life easier.

here's the problem. I'm not sure what major in college is good for this. i dont want to pick the wrong major because i might end up doing something i dont like.

- sitting around at a desk and programming all day

- only doing programming

thats basically the only things i would hate to do for a career. what i DO want to do is work with a group that come together to combine software, hardware, firmware (etc) and make incredible products. i guess im more on the "designing" like how it looks and how all the pieces go together but i also would like to create (program) the functions of the electronic. any ideas out there? (probably will work for apple or microsoft in the future when i get the chance)

So I am going to be attending NOVA this upcoming school year and I applied for FAFSA and everything and the school has received it. I am considered an Independent student and I live with my grandma who is my legal guardian (have the court papers to prove it). My grandma has been retired for a long time and gets money from the government (ssa, ssi, whatever). I did not work EVER so i didn't get any income and i dont have a bank account, savings account or anything like that. NOVA told me that i have to provide paper work to prove that my grandma does not work and gets money from the government. What kind of paper work can prove that my grandma doesn't work (or hasn't worked for the past however many years she has been not working)? and as for the governmental money thing, we get this updating paper that shows her SSA/SSI income from the government. Should i show them that thing? please help, i really need to get this done and im sick and tired of going from place to place without getting answers from people.

so what i want to do for my job in the future is to work with a group people and make brand new technology that can significantly change the way people do things and live on a daily basis. A perfect example of this technology is the microsoft vision video on youtube. would this be computer science or computer engineering? cause i dont want to just do coding because thats just sitting at a desk all day. i want to be interactive.

So im going to be attending NOVA this upcoming school year and they do NOT have computer engineering. but what they do have is computer science. im going to be taking computer science and getting my associates degree then transferring to Virginia Tech. Virginia tech DOES have computer engineering. if i take computer engineering in my last 2 years of virginia tech do i get my bachelors in computer engineering even though i took it for 2 years only? thanks for the help

i am about to go to college and i need to think of a major that i would like to do. right now i am very interested in technology and how everything works. there was this "microsoft vision" video on youtube where a lot of these new technologies were being used. i would like to do something along the lines of that. working with a team of people where we work to program and make these things. what college major does this category fall under? (computer science, computer engineering etc..) thank you.

So i decided that i was going to go to NOVA as a pathway student and after two years transfer to virginia tech. Now will that be looked down upon when i apply for graduate school or apply for a job in the future? Am i at a disadvantage against a kid that went to virginia tech straight out of high school? If so how much? I need to know just "how bad" things are going to be

So lets say if i lost my iphone and my sim card is in and i didnt cancel my contract with them. If the person who took my iphone restored it but kept on using my data, cellular, etc, would i or verizon be able to track it?

Im going to kings dominion tomorrow for the first time and im wondering what i should bring. So far im bringing a backpack, extra shirt and shorts, sweater, 2 bottles of water, phone and $20 for food. Anything else i should bring?

So mine is about GPA and the number of hours people read. Its likely that the higher the gpa, the more hours a person spends reading. My question is, what kind of math problems should i use though? I got mean median and mode down of course. I plan to do a x^2 (chi) squared test but i dont know what variables to use. Can anybody help me?

so currently i have an iphone 4s and i wanted to get a spare phone for going out for long periods of time just in case. i dont want my iphone to break because its brand new. i was wondering if i could put my sim card into a blackberry for sprint and see if it works. my iphone is a sprint CDMA.

another thing. for some reason, my iphone can be used without the sim card in it. does that mean that if i put my sim card into another phone, another bill will come out for me?

i got my new iPad (4th generation) stolen about a week ago and im wondering if someone could alter the serial number on the back of the iPad or actually inside the iPad in the settings. could someone possibly get the back removed and replaced with another one with another serial number? could they possibly jailbreak the iPad and download a tweak that lets the person alter the serial number?

so theres this one kid that posted on facebook about selling a white ipad. the very next day that post was deleted and the kid said that he had already sold it. he posted this ipad post on his facebook the same exact day that i lost my ipad. if i tell the police that i think it's him, will they help me out?

so i have a stolen ipad and what i want to do is report it to the police. i do have 2 suspects in my mind (one of them was in the class where the ipad was in while i was tracking it, he stole an ipad before. the other person was a guy that posted a picture and post on facebook about selling a white ipad for $400). if i give the police this information will they even bother to go and question these people that i suspect?

my iPad 4th generation 32GB iPad was stolen. here's the scene at which my iPad was stolen. Thursday January 17th my iPad was stolen after i had left the classroom. i had. 2-3 minutes later i found out that it was missing and as soon as i remembered that, i turned on find my ipad from my iphone. i saw that it was still in the classroom where i left it. i ran back to the classroom (not caring that i was going to be late to my class clearly) to see if my ipad was still on the desk that i left it at. of course it wasn't but everybody that was supposed to be in that class was in that class including the guy that sat right next to my desk that i left it at. im assuming that he's the guy that took it but im not really sure. after i left the room at 12:40 the ipad was still connected to internet until 12:44 which means that someone was looking through it cause my ipad clicks off of wifi almost as soon as it is sleeping (screen is off). i can safetly assume that the person was looking through my facebook and stuff just to see whos this actually was. later that day around 4pm - 10pm i was telling my friends that my ipad was lost and if they saw anything like this to please tell me asap. my friend replied saying "my cousin saw a facebook post from his friend about a white ipad that he's selling for $400". sadly the next day for some reason, he deleted the picture and the post (or just hid it from my friend and his cousin). they were both talking to him about buying the ipad but he said yesterday that he sold it. either 1) he really did sell it or 2) he saw that i was friends with him and decided not to even talk to him anymore (hid the picture and post from him). i really think that either one or the other stole my ipad and i want to tell the police about the information that i have as of now. wouldn't they be able to question him and ask who he sold it to and stuff like that? please answer that question and tell me what you think i should do. i plan to file a police report asap. thank you.

so yesterday a person stole my ipad. i reported it to security at my school and theyre going to ask some questions to the people in the current class that it was previously stolen in. i really dont think thats going to help the situation. here is the information that i know. my ipad was in that classroom 6 minutes after class started and then it was disconnected from the internet (either the guy turned the wifi off, turned the device off, or the ipad was asleep for too long so the connection was lost). there was a guy on facebook that same day that posted a picture of a white ipad and he was selling it for $400 dollars. im not sure if that is MINE mine but it was white like mine and looked fairly new just like mine. unfortunately i did not get the chance to take a snapshot of the picture or the post and they were deleted but my friend also saw the post that he posted up on facebook about the ipad. what should i do now? im not sure that i have enough evidence that the guy actually took MY ipad but yeah. does anybody have any advice for me out there? it would be of great help. thanks a bunch!
