I live in a small town with my parents while going to college. I'm currently a full-time student and 20 years old. I've considered working so I can move into an apartment and on my own. I understand I would most likely be working for minimum wage ($7.25 in my area). Apartments around here are approximately $450-500/month. Other monthly expenses would cost $600/month. Should I just stay at home until I graduate and get a good job or is it a "learning experience) to get out and live on my own?

I'm thinking about getting a small tattoo (size of a dime) of a puppy paw in memory of my second mother who died when I was 14. She absolutely loved dogs and bought me my first dog and kept it for me because my parents wouldn't let me keep it at my house. I share the same love for dogs now, so I feel like it is something that really relates us together.

Also, I'm not sure of the placement. I thought maybe on the inside of my wrist?

I am leaning more toward the Vera Bradley because I really enjoy their bags and being a college student, I can be a little rough with it and just throw it in the washer when it gets dirty. Not to mention it is $150.00 cheaper than the MK (it will cost right at $200.00 with S&H). Plus I hate to pay that much for a purse that is made in China right along with the cheaper bags.

So which do you guys think?

So I have a Quartet cork board on my wall with command strips that came with it. I purchased a new one today and am wanting to take it down. I tried to take a butter knife between the command strip and the cork board to no avail, but the command strip became a little lose so I tugged the command strip off to find that it also took the paint off of my wall! I thought they were designed to NOT do this? So how cna I get the other three off without taking paint off my wall, too?

I am in need of new shampoo and conditioners and am interested in mixing it up. What are your favorite shampoos and conditioners, low or high end?

FYI, I have straight/wavy, brown hair that isn't color treated. So pretty much any shampoo/conditioner for normal hair.

My dad is 70 and has dementia and ministrokes and isn't supposed to drive. I'm 20 and a college student who still lives at home. He came into my room and asked for his keys, and I said I could keep them for him until my mom comes home from work. He said, no he wants them because they are his keys.. He said, he isn't going to drive, but he just wants his keys. I said, okay, hold on and I will get them after I get done doing some homework. But that wasn't good enough for him, he said he needed them now or he was going to start messing up stuff in my room. He started going through all of my drawers in my room, looking for his keys. I asked him to get out of my room, but he proceeded to grab my phone and throw it down on the floor. I told him that he better not touch any more of my stuff because I paid for it, and if he broke it, he would have to buy me new stuff. He then started saying how he bought all this stuff for me (my computer, purse, etc.) which he didn't, everything I paid for myself. He then threatened to sell the house and stormed out. He does this all the time. He isn't supposed to drive but he still does because my mom won't take his keys. I told her he is going to kill someone, and she said she knows, but she won't do anything about it. I'm just so frustrated by his actions and her inability to do anything. Is this a good enough reason to stay at my boyfriend's tonight? I know she will get mad at me for not coming home, but I need to get away for a while.

I walk every morning and tend to sweat a bit while doing so. I shower after every exercise, but I wash my hair every other day to keep it from getting dried out. Is there any way I can keep my hair clean and smelling fresh on days that I don't wash it?

I have the MapMyWalk app that tracks where I walk, how fast, etc to see how many calories I am burning. I walked around 4.2 miles in 1 hour and 10 minutes. I was averaging between 16-18 minutes per mile. I have it set as power walking (is a mile in 16 minutes considered power walking? I am a 20 year old female who weighs 149 lbs and am 5'6" tall. Does 350 calories sound right for th amount ofwwalking? I just feel like that's a lot of calories.

I am 5'6" and around 149 pounds. Since Tuesday, I have been walking roughly 3 miles a day (except Wednesday) within an hour. MyFitnessPal says I'm burning around 250 calories by doing this. I've also ben consuming around 1,200 net calories a day. I never go over that amount, but sometimes I will only eat 1,000 calories in a day if I'm full. Does this sound like it will allow me to lose any weight? How often should I weigh myself? I'm afraid I wills weiglh myself too often and not see much of a difference so I will give up. That's what I'm trying to avoid.

I'm a 20 year old female. I am 5'6" and weigh around 148 pounds. If I eat no more than 1,200 calories a day and burn 200 calories a day enough to lose weight? How quick will I lose weight doing this? Should I burn more calories than this in a day?

I have medium length nails; free edge is right over the finger tips. What nail polish colors look best? I love red, but I know it would look trashy on long nails. I think lighter colors would look better, but what colors come off as sweet and feminine? I don't want them to look like claws.

I walked around 45 minutes today. I was going to walk more, but my left foot was very irritated, so I came home. I have a blister on my next to smallest toe on my left foot and one on my heel.
