hope

I haven't spoken to my friend in about a year and a half. We used to be really close and we always out on the town. Then we had a bit of an argument which was mainly my fault. I had problems and kept making excuses not to go out. She's now invited me to her hen party which I really want to go to but it's a hotel stay and other stuff which is going to cost £150. I've just gone back to work after maternity leave and don't have that sort of money- I use all our wages on the bills and there is not a lot spare. My head says I can't justify spending that money just on me enjoying myself but I don't want to be refusing since were only just speaking. She'll think I'm making excuses again. What would you do?
