To me a book allows me to have a peek into peoples lives and convesation past or future intelligent or otherwise

we have them here annually all the cousins , aunties, uncles,bros and sisters and their kids come over just to eat together share some family history and introduce the kids to each other. However the practise is dying out cause of western culture atleast in my country, What are your thoughts on this is it something youd consider if not why not
