I am living in hell, a husband that treates me as a furniture and keeps me completely dependant on him. Three days ago I had finally de confirmation and eventhough i would like to be free, I do have a 5 YEARS old and so far I can't find a job. He terrorized me, and all his mistreatment give me no power to decide. Any ideas to start getting out of this toxic relationship?

After having worked very hard I could literally touch my goal and once in a sudden everything changed and here am I. I've lost all my energy and the doors are closed.The feeling of impotence makes me furious and also sad because I deserved a better result.

Do I have to take the words of "Rocky Balboa " Life goes about how much pain can you endure without giving up ";

I have been preparing to present USMLE step 2 and I am ready to take the exam in the next data...but I live in Belgium and I do not know where to find the information regarding inscription, payment and exam. The same with USMLE step 3. Can I give step 2 before step 1 or 3 and start sending letters to apply? Please, I would appreciate sincerely your help

I have a new internet connection and I was recommended by the company while subscribing to buy a router to use 2 or 3 computers at the same time.

As it doesn't work I called the company and as an answer now I do have to buy a hub...The system is powered by cable TV - broadband connection- and I have a Linksys Cable/DSL Router...any suggestion??

Yesterday we finished a complete physical-psychological and psychomotor check up. Everything is fine, excepting that she is way behind in the developing of her oral expression understanding.

We live in Europe; the language she is trying to learn is not my mother language even if I already can handle my life in this difficult language over here. Her father is never home and emotional pretty distant. Neither the daughter nor me we can expect any longer his support, but I want to do the best for my daughter to grow up belonging to the culture in the country we are living.

Besides going to a Logo therapist, what can I do as a mother besides learning further the language?

Is anybody of you in a similar situation?

I read that most of the people disagree with Bush's policy but everything keeps on going. He can't be reelected, but his presidency can end up before if the people really find that is not giving to them more than war and empty promises.

I wonder why Clinton had to bleed in public because of a personal " mistake" and public, political behavior that are not representing the will of the people have to be accepted. As a foreigner, not resident of the US, I would like to understand how it works the Freedom and the Public Opinion in these matters.

When an American Soldier dies for America, it does for the Government or for the American People.

What makes a country, the temporary Government or the People?

I mean an attitude, tic, gesture, sound, way of talking, physical appearance, style, etc.

My relation is already broken but trying to fix it up our daughter is still small and suffers the consequences of our problems and my own fears.

After a big effort and trying to forget my own problems I decided to give him one more chance, but he keeps on repeating the same stupid mistakes.

I feel so weak, and dependant after years of being ignored,dedicating myself to my family and never being unfaithful…Yesterday I found my bottom, and started taking antidepressives that were left from him.

I started searching for a job, he is going next month to work overseas, impossible to track his income, habits;etc

Child support and custody ? He promised to let me on the street and to keep my daughter always away from me.

I am alone and in deep pain and feel lost but have to keep on smiling to my little sunshine. We sleep together every night since the last big quarrel.

Time to abandon my illusions, start over or waiting some more, and get ready for an easier way out.

Just think that you suspect your partner is acting different , becoming too irrational, changing mood, hiding things and started treating you without any consideration.

Once you try to talk, immediately changes subject and blames you for anything that has nothing to do in the conversation.

Very clear violent behavior starts showing up, even hate and not only against you.

You do have children, no money and the certainty that he will take everything away from you just because he can pay and want to take revenge on you.

You have done nothing wrong but trying to understand what is going on.

How far would you go to protect your children and yourself?

WOMEN, is our obsession to keep our external beauty and eternal youth keeping us away from real life, from developing our soul?

Who still believes that we do have the same chances of succeeding that men have, unless forgetting about taking care of our children, or remain single for life? How many women in power do you know, and how many key leaders of international companies, Presidents or Prime Ministers are women now….Is that the so call equality?

Is our obsession for external beauty and eternal youth not worst than being kept in prison, since it works inside us making us insecure, worried about something we can’t change instead of setting our energy in something more productive, for example taking care of our soul or our freedom/economical independence?

Before I asked “Equal chances for Women,BULLSHIT”, etc and a guy said we have net, I should be a whore…I wonder how are men and women thinking in the US.

The person who wishes euthanasia in situations accepted by the law, have the right to request it even before they become completely dement.

I am a Surgeon, and had seen people in such an agony that they beg for ending up their life, since nothing relieves their pain.

As a person, I believe that accepting that death as part of life as the birth, is necessary to understand that compassion has to be applied not only to animals but to human beings.

I know that is a difficult subject to take position.

On the other hand, a criminal is also a human being that must be punished with the purpose of achieving a real change, in other terms regretting what they have done and just in case be kept away from the society.

Is not contradictory to let somebody who committed no crime to die suffering and end the life of the criminal fast and without pain?

I don t feel like divorcing yet, but flesh is so weak....Can anybody suggest me which method would bring me less problems and more satisfaction?
