My MIL wrecked her GMC Sonoma and cracked her grill cover. We were able to get her a new one but it is red and hers is gold. The local paint shop is wanting $170 to repaint it. Is it that difficult to do-it-yourself? Any advice?

My daughter is wanting to do a solar system for her science fair project (I know it is overdone but she is only 7) I was wondering if someone could give me a topic where she can show the scientific method: purpose, hypothesis, procedure, results, and conclusion and still use her solar system model. I've never done a fair before and did not realize she was supposed to do it in this manner until after we already built the model. Thanks for any help.

I had all four done Wed. 3 were pretty easy and feel almost normal now. The fourth was very difficult and took almost 2 hours to completely remove. The pain in that one is still excruciating. I am taking Darvocet (allergic to codeine) but that just seems to be making me sick and not really helping the pain. I've been using ice packs but now the pain has spread across my whole jaw and even to my ear. I am afraid I am getting dry socket, but of course the dentist is closed until Monday. Don't know what I should do.

What might cause child to shake after exercising?

Her symptoms started last Saturday. She was riding her bike and afterward began shaking in the arms and legs. It has happened repeatedly throughout the week, always after either walking a lot or riding her bike. These are activities she has always done at about the same level of intensity.Her doctor has done some blood work that all came back normal including a blood sugar test. I am not sure what other tests were done, the office closed early today, and I missed the call. I will be back in touch with them Monday, but was looking for some guidance for what I should ask about or investigate as to why this suddenly began. She does have a history of febrile seizures and her father suffered from seizures from childhood until he was in his twenties. There is no other family history of diseases in children.

I need to write a short essay about this using internet references and citations, but I am having little luck finding anything. Any help would be great.

I have been with State Farm for nine years and decided to see if I could find a cheaper policy. Geico has quoted me half what I currently pay. I have been with the same company for so long, I am a bit nervous about changing. Can anyone tell me of their personal experiences?

My 13 year-old is generally very smart. When I look at her grades, most of them are between 95-100 but then she will make a couple of 40's or 50's or even a 0 and completely blow her average. She is currently passing all classes with at least a B except 1 in which she is making a 66. Mostly I think it is laziness on her part because the grades are either great or horrible, nothing in between, in fact all grades are 100's in this class except a quiz 50, and exam 55. There are still 3 weeks left to bring the grade up so just looking for some help getting her there. Due to her last report card, I have already taken away TV privileges and extra-curricular activities and made her start studying at home more. This obviously didn't do the trick since the grade has actually fallen (was 70) I need a fresh approach.

Two kittens were born near my house on Friday. My four-year-old son didn't realize the cat was having babies and "caught" her. She was wild and took off running. I checked in on the kittens all day on Saturday and never once saw the mother with them. On Sunday morning, still no mother and they were freezing cold and seemed weak. I brought them in and made a homemade formula from a recipe I found. One seems to be doing better, but is still cold and dehydrated. The other didn't make it through the night. When I first found them, he had been bleeding from the mouth/nose and was just really weak. I am currently feeding the other one every couple of hours and hubby is bringing some regular kitten formula tonight. I have been using a warm cloth to stimulate urination, etc. I also have her in a small bathroom with a space heater to keep it warm. Is there anything else I can do? Any advice, warnings?

What will your costume (or child's costume) be?

I usually make my kids costumes because I like them to be original. But I have 5 kids and only one costume done. I can hand stitch or use sewing glue but my sewing machine is broken so nothing too complex. I am also a bit strapped for cash as we are saving for a down payment and deposits due November. I have looked through many websites but either don't like the ideas or have already done them. Do you have any personal recommendations or maybe a site that isn't as obvious as just searching "homemade/cheap costumes?"

Had some given to me from my mom and don't know what to do with it.

My thirteen-year-old got braces in May. I know she brushes at least twice a day and sometimes three times. She also flosses everyday. At her appointment yesterday, they removed the wire because she wasn't brushing/flossing good enough. I have never had braces and don't know how to tell what she needs to be doing differently. Any personal advice you can give?
