If so, did you have a "purge" stage? How long / bad was it? I have a few new red bumps after switching from Dr. Hauschka to OCM and am not sure if I'm headed for cystic acne (I recently read some horror stories) or if I'm just purging. My skin looks a little irritated and red - should I massage less?

Please provide details as to why you find one scarier (or more trustworthy) than the other. I personally find corporations less trustworthy because their sole purpose is to make money, while government ostensibly has my best interest in mind at least some of the time. Just curious to see where you all stand, and if your opinion correlates to your age.

but then continue to say that women should stop complaining about the same thing? When will we all learn that rigidly defined sex roles hurt us all, not just one sex or the other?

Examples: men complain about how women are not as much at risk of being punched in the mouth (I don't even believe that's statistically true, but I've read complaints about this) or who get to have their dinners paid for by men on dates, and then tell women that they're "wrong" when they complain about pay scale differences or getting ogled at work? Those problems are based on sex roles too - the expectation that women aren't the major breadwinners or are sex objects.

How many of you remember those elementary school shootings from last year? What most media coverage neglected to point out was how both shooters - adult men - specifically and purposefully targeted little girls. We seem oddly comfortable in this culture with the idea that victims are women, and perpetrators are men. Should that change? Should we force ourselves to be shocked by that? Aren't we shocked by that?
