We've been dating for 5 months now. He's a pretty nice guy. The only thing is, he suffers from severe depression and it's really affected how he lives. He rarely will ever go out. I'm lucky if I can get him to come out maybe once a month. Between months 2-3 of our relationship he never left his house at all, except to occasionally pick me up... to go to his house ._. He also does this thing where he'll disappear for like 2-3 days at a time when he's feeling really down. I know he's not cheating. It's nothing like that. He just stays at home, won't answer the door, and leaves his phone off. I know he doesn't even shower during those times either :\

I honestly don't know what I should do. We've talked about it. He hates being the way he his, but he also isn't willing to do anything about it such as go to the doctor, etc. His previous girlfriend of two years left him for the same reason. She just couldn't deal with it anymore. I feel bad breaking up with him for this. I really do like him, but I'm not sure if I shoud give this relationship more time to see if maybe I can deal with this or just move on? Oh, I don't know if this will affect anyone's opinion either, but he's a former marine and according to him, his depression didn't start until after his service with the marine corps.

I read somewhere that it's a turn off for some guys because it makes the girl look self-conscious.

Well I met this guy on this dating site a little over three weeks ago and we've seen each other 3-4 times a weeks since then. We've both spent the night at each others houses and have met each others friends once each.

Anyways, I was really just fine with keeping things casual, but I'm starting to become uneasy about it all. I decided today that I would go look in to his dating site profiles (he has one for two different sites that I know of) and found out that he still logs in to/updates them regularly. I've already cancelled mine, so this is really bothering me a lot more than I thought it would. Is 3 weeks it too soon for me to talk about becoming exclusive or should I just let this go? How would I even go about bringing this subject up without sounding pushy?

Well I'm baking a cake for father's day and my dad has no preference. He'll literally eat anything, so I just wanted to take a poll and see what cake comes out as the most popular so I can use it as a reference as to what to bake.

Our two year anniversary is next month. He has never told me he loves me though. It's really bothering me. Every time I tell him I love him, he just says ditto. He says it means the same thing, but it really upsets me that he can't tell me he loves me. He's been able to tell ex-girlfriend's that he loved them, but he's never said it to me. We have a very good relationship and get along for the most part with just the occasional argument. He even tells his very close friends that he loves them when hanging up the phone, just not me.

The fact that he won't tell me that he loves me and only says ditto is really bothering me. Am I just wasting my time in this relationship? He said he's not sure if he'll ever actually say the words that he loves me. It really hurts.

Well I think I'll get my very first mani/pedi next Friday. I'm 19 and amazingly have never done this before so I'm nervous. My friends haven't/will not do it either, so I'm going to be doing this by myself. What do you normally do when getting one? I'm just wondering if you just sit there quietly or what? I keep thinking there will be awkward silence. Also, would I get them both done on the same day?

I'm having it done at a small nail salon that recently opened up and had good reviews. Am I supposed to make an appointment or just walk in? I wanted a solid color just on my natural nails. Do I word it like that?

Also, I have a weird looking toenail on one of my big toes because a piano chair fell on it when I was 12 and it just grew back in an ugly thick way (however it looks normal when you paint over it). But I was still wondering if I should I should just forget about getting the pedicure because of that? Would they still give me one even though the nail is thicker/weird looking?

I know a lot of these questions are probably really basic stuff, but I'm completely new here so I need some input.

Well practically almost every Saturday, my boyfriend's friend will ask him to watch her kid so that her and her boyfriend can go out. While he's with her kid (no blood relation to him at all), I can't really talk to him or text him often because he gets too busy, nor am I really invited over. He's not lying though, he really is watching the kid and I'm not questioning that at all and have witnessed the child being there. Not to mention when I do call, I hear her son in the background. I'm just upset that he sacrifices our Saturday nights so that her and her boyfriend can go out to the bars and fun restaurants.

My boyfriend thinks it's wrong of me to be upset. However, I think it really is unfair that I don't get to spend Saturdays with my boyfriend, or Sunday mornings for that matter because he generally keeps the kid over night so that her boyfriend and her can have their house to themselves. My boyfriend always works Mon-Fri and goes to bed by 8:30-9 so my weekends are the only time I truly have with him.

Am I being selfish because I think my relationship with my boyfriend should come before his friends relationship with her boyfriend? How should I handle the situation if he really isn't going to stop watching her kid so that she can go out? I'm 19 and I don't want to spend my weekends alone or with his friend's child watching Cartoon Network all night, not that I'm invited anyway!

I will be going on my first cruise ship and we'll be stopping at Mexico ports. When we stop at the ports, can I brink touristy gifts like candy or wine back on to the ship that I purchased while in Mexico? Do they search our bags when going back on to the ship?

None of my friends are Ingrid Michaelson fans so I'm considering going to her concert alone. Would any of you go to a concert alone if it were just a general admission concert indoors?

The BLS is also for health care providers...I'm kind of confused as to what the difference is. The class I'm in only says to get a CPR for Health Professionals class but I can't find anything with that title so I'm thinking they meant a BLS, possibly.

For the past two days I've pretty much been avoiding everything because I've thrown it all back up, but this is my third day on it and although I'm still nauseous, I no longer have a fever so I was wondering what I should and shouldn't eat.

Also, does burnt toast really help nausea?

I wanted to make dinner for my boyfriend and I think sushi would be fun to make. I can get sweet rice and seaweed, but I'm wondering if you can just use the raw fish in an average fish market? Do you think that's fresh enough? I'm not a very good cook either, so if someone could give me some simple roll recipes that'd be good too.

Oh, also do I need to buy any special tools to make sushi? Should I practice making it by myself before I try making it for him?

And when I say happy bachelor, you have people you can sleep with whenever needed with no commitment.

Ok, well I'm about to call a place that's highly recommended for them to make an appointment. But ok, so I already know it's going to hurt...but I mean, what am I supposed to wear? Should I wear like a dress? Like do they just ask you to take your pants or something. Can anyone explain the process? lol

The vet clinics all around here are closed on Sunday so there's not much I can do. He was fine last night and early this morning, but about an hour ago, he became really lethargic and he started shivering. He wouldn't even come out from under the bed for food.

He's nearly four years old, up to date with all his vaccines, on heart worm and flea prevention. He seemed healthy up until now. Any idea whats wrong or what I can do to help him until I can take him to the vet?

Ok, well it's my senior year and I'm going to go to homecoming for the first time ever. Should I just rent a dress since this is the only time I'll ever wear it, most likely. Or should I just go ahead and buy a dress?

Also, is it better to have a date for homecoming, or would the dance still be fun without a date.

Oh...is it even fun at all? Even I'm not a fan of dancing?
