1 AnswerOther - Home & Garden7 years agoDoes anyone know how to fix the door on the My Little Pony rainbow castle?
The spring mechanism which opens and closes the door isn't working. I think it somehow came apart and I don't know how to put it back together so the switch opens the door again. If anyone has suggestions I would be most appreciative.
1 AnswerToys1 decade agoI have a stabbing pain under my left rib cage, near the sternum. It's where I would expect my stomach meets?
the esophasgus. It only hurts when that area gets moved by the abdominal muscles, like when I cough, sit up from a seated or laying down position, or bend down to pick something up. When it's set off, it's extremely painful. I went to my primary care physician, and I saw a PA. She said it was acid reflux and prescribed prevacid. It feels nothing like reflux - no burning, no travelling up the esophagus, and the prevacid does nothing for my pain. I have no digestive problems. I do have abdominal diastasis from pregnancy, and I have been coughing for the last month, so I wonder if that has anything to do with it? They checked blood and urine for bacteria and found nothing abnormal. Where do I go next for help, and can anyone give me any info?
3 AnswersOther - Diseases1 decade agoWe had our house painted today, then it rained?
Some was dry to the touch, some was tacky, and some was freshly wet when it started sprinkling. The painters finished and left just when the rain got heavier. There are parts of the trim and areaway out there with fresh wet paint getting rained on right now. What can I do? Is it going to run? Will it blister and chip off later? We haven't paid them yet. Can they fix it? Are they stupid for continuing to paint even though it was sprinkling?

4 AnswersEtiquette1 decade agoDoes this sound like a spider bite and do I need to see a doctor?
I was at the beach last week and during the week I noticed a deep dark purple round bruise on the inside of my arm right below the wrist. I thought it was a bruise but over time it hasn't gone away and there is a white raised bump in the middle of it. It hurts like a bruise if you press it but it doesn't itch or bother me in any other way. The skin isn't red like a wound. Does this sound like a spider bite? Could it have been from another type of insect? There were a lot of small black ants there. Should I go to the doctor?
5 AnswersFirst Aid1 decade agoI need help with my aloe plant?
My neighbor gave me a baby shoot off her aloe plant. I planted it in organic soil in a terra cotta pot and it was happy. I had it inside in the kitchen which get natural sunlight but no direct sunlight. I read up on aloe plants and everything said that aloe plants like lots of full sun so I put it outside in a sunny spot next to my tomato plants. A week later, the leaves are droopy and have turned a brownish green. Is there anything I can do to bring it back? I put it on the porch now out of direct sunlight. How much sun do they really need? I am sure this plant does not want full sun despite what experts say.

3 AnswersHair1 decade agoWhat type of window treatments would you recommend?
for the back windows of the first floor of my house? I have a long line of windows that extends from the dining room, which is a bay window, to the kitchen, and then to the family room. It's an open floor plan so you can see the windows from one room to the next, and the windows treatments need to work together. The house faces west so the morning sun shines directly into these windows, so I need something that blocks or filters light, yet, my young children play on the deck outside the kitchen so I can't obstruct the view. I am worried regular blinds will block the view from the kitchen too much. I need suggestions for blinds, shades or drapes. We have priced out plantation shutters and I'm not sure about them because of the cost and they may partially obstruct the view.

2 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoHousetrained dog suddenly peeing all over house?
I have a 7 year old female beagle. We adopted her 3 years ago and she has been fully housetrained for the last 2.5 years. A few days ago she started peeing in the house. The first time when in the basement right in front of me. I thought, I must have forgotten to let her out, so I started making sure she was let out regularly (I am home during the day so I do this all day). But I am still finding pee puddles all over, on the basement rug and living room rug. She is mostly doing it at night when we are upstairs. She used to sleep on our bed but we put a stop to that and make her sleep downstairs. I am wondering, what is wrong? Is she getting lazy about housetraining, mad about not being allowed upstairs, a medical problem, doesn't want to go out in the cold? How can I fix this?

I would like to paint them a neutral color and give the lamps new life. Would this be a fire hazard? What kind of paint should I use? What is the best way to go about this?
2 AnswersDecorating & Remodeling1 decade agoEbay question - item broken in mail?
I sold some stuff on ebay. I packed carefully and shipped with insurance. Buyer claims part of it came broken. Should I reimburse for the whole thing, partially reimburse for items broken, or am I not responsible? Buyer quickly filed claim on paypal saying items not as described before I got a chance to resolve this. Should I wait for paypal resolution?
