  • Is there a stereo dock that will play iPhone and Android?

I have an iPhone 4S and my husband has an Android. We'd like to get a stereo/speaker dock for our kitchen that will allow us to play music but obviously don't want to have to buy one for each phone. Is there a dock out there that will accommodate both?

  • Any advice for the bridal shower cake I am making?

I am making a bridal shower cake for 40 people. I am planning on a 2-layer marble 13x9 cake, with a hazelnut or mocha filling and chocolate buttercream on the outside. I am also going to make about a dozen cupcakes because the bride also likes funfetti cake and I thought they'd be cute to sort of flank the main cake with the theme.

I have only been decorating cakes for a few months now and have only done vanilla/chocolate cake with white buttercream icing. Is that amount of cake sufficient to feed 40 people with a little bit of leftovers? Any advice on the flavors, baking, decorating, etc.?

  • Is there a new OTC product to treat painful pimples?

I could have sworn I saw an ad in a magazine recently about a new product to treat those pimples that just plain hurt. I thought it was made by Clearasil but now I can't find it on any brand's website. Am I going crazy?

  • My boss wears a suit jacket that tends to show too much - do I tell her?

My boss has a suit that she's worn a few times since I started at my job five months ago. It has kind of a toggle joining in the middle, which stays together while she's standing, but when she sits it separates a bit. She doesn't wear a top under the jacket (just her bra), so when it does that, you can see more than I'm sure she wants everyone to see.

Do I mention it to her or do I keep quiet? I would appreciate someone telling me that I was giving a free show, but I'm not sure how that rule translates when it's your superior. Thoughts?

  • How much caffeine is too much with Wellbutrin SR?

I recently started taking Wellbutrin SR and have read all of the warnings about avoiding excess caffeine. However, I haven't found a source that indicates how much caffeine is too much. I would be very interested to know for sure; unfortunately it's not something I can test out, like the result is a headache and I can just evaluate how much I've had until my head hurts. I prefer not to induce a seizure to get a number, haha. Does anyone have additional information about this interaction?

  • Do you know anything about the Shaler Area school district in Pittsburgh?

My husband and I are house-hunting, and we've found a place in Shaler that we like. It's in the Shaler Area School District (we were hoping to be in the North Hills SD). Does anyone know if Shaler Area district is any good? Please let me know. Thanks!

  • What kind of service does my car need?

I have a 2007 Honda Civic with about 27000 miles on it. I am the only owner. I haven't really done anything with servicing it, other than regular oil changes at Jiffy Lube. What kind of maintenance is my car due for? I think I should have the tires rotated, but do I also need to have them balanced? My service place is charging an extra $30 to balance them also. There's so many "suggested" maintenance processes out there, and I have no idea what is actually needed. Thanks!

  • Do I put my old or new address on my state return?

I moved from NJ to PA last year and have to file my state income tax return in NJ. Do I put my old address on the NJ-1040 form or do I put my new PA address, and put the NJ municipality code in that applied to my old address?

  • Is it possible to make a non-working fireplace functional?

We are looking at a house that has a non-working fireplace (there is a chimney) and we were wondering if it's possible to convert it back into a working fireplace or if it's a lost cause. The current owners have lived there 1.5 years and have no idea when the chimney was last cleaned. What is the process here, if there is one? Thanks!

  • We are buying a house - where can we find info about the town?

My husband and I are house-hunting and would like to find more information about the particular area of Pittsburgh where the house is located. Resident comments, crime statistics, etc. is the kind of information we want to find. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've been doing general Google searches on the area but have found really basic details. Thank you!

P.S. Sorry if I'm miscategorized -- nothing else seemed relevant.

  • How do I find a title agency?

I have a lease on my car and I just moved to another state. The leasing company said I need to visit a title agency to change over the paperwork (registration, inspection, etc.) but I'm not sure where to find one. I tried a Yellow Pages search but all of the results were related to real estate. I'm definitely confused. Help!

  • How do I tell my fiance that I don't like the wedding ring?

I am getting married in two months and I don't like the wedding ring that my fiance picked out. It came as a set with the engagement ring (which I absolutely LOVE, it's perfect) but I'm not thrilled with the wedding band. It's just not a style that I like and with the way that it's designed, it's not really something that can be worn on its own (you'd have to always have the engagement ring on to complete the look). I wasn't a fan of it when he showed it to me after we got engaged, but I thought it might grow on me. Unfortunately, it's been nearly a year and a half and we are getting married in two months, but I still don't like it. Do I tell him, and if so, how do I do it in a nice way? I'm not sure if he was able to pick out the wedding band for the set or if he picked the engagement ring and this band was what came with it, so I can't gauge if he'd be offended. I don't want to hurt his feelings but I also know that the wedding band isn't me. Help!

  • Need to find travel insurance -- help!?

My fiance and I are going on our honeymoon to Jamaica in October and we need to get travel insurance. We'll be there from 10/6-10/13. We are flying with United/US Airways, which is part of the reason we want insurance (in the event of a cancelled flight). Mostly we are just looking for something that will protect our trip/costs in the event that something is cancelled or delayed or something (not necessarily travel medical insurance). I've been looking at the various travel insurance sites and comparing plans/prices, but I have no idea what I'm looking for. I know if a price is too much or not, but as far as coverage I want/need/etc. I'm clueless. Help!!!

  • How do I make sure people get what they ordered at the rehearsal dinner?

We are having a sit-down dinner, and the restaurant for the rehearsal dinner requires that guests choose their entree before the party. I don't want to use place cards with a notation for the dish because it's too formal, but I don't want people forgetting what they ordered and telling the waiter they want the chicken when I gave a count for the beef. How should I go about this? Thanks!

  • Which Avon product is best for stretch marks?

Avon has three different products and I'm not sure if any work better than the others. I am 24 and I've had stretch marks on my arms, legs, calves, stomach, and chest since I was about 11. They've lightened some from using lotion every day for about the past 5 or 6 years (a combo of aloe, vitamin E, and cocoa butter) but there are some that are still visible and I would like to try and diminish them further. Avon's products are the Body Squad Luminous Anti-Stretch Mark Cream (the mark line); Super-Shape Anti-Cellulite and Stretch Mark Cream; and ANEW CLINICAL Professional Stretch Mark Smoother. Any suggestions? Thanks!

  • Should I pay for my bridesmaids' hair and nails?

I have two bridesmaids in my wedding, and I plan to spend about $50-$75 on gifts for each of them. I let them pick out their dress and they paid for that, and they also paid for their shoes as well. I am unsure if I should be paying for their hair and nails as well. I feel like I should since I know how much everything else costs, but at the same time I'm also hard up for cash and am wondering where my coverage of their expenses stops. I thought about making their hair and nails their gifts, but I really also want to give them something as an actual gift at the rehearsal dinner. What did you do for your 'maids, or what was done for you when you were someone's bridesmaid? Thanks!

  • Where can I find Victoria's Secret Team Bride tank top?

I am looking for this tank in a size Large, but it's impossible! VS seems to have discontinued the line for bridesmaids, and the only ones I can find are smalls and mediums. I have checked eBay, craigslist, and done a general Google search for it. Can you give me any tips? It is a bright pink tank top that has "Team Bride" in rhinestones on the front, with "Sexy Little Thing" in rhinestones underneath. I'm also interested in the short-sleeved black sweatshirt/hoodie they used to have with "Bridesmaid" written in pink rhinestones across the back, but I am open to just one if that's my only option. Please help with suggestions if you have them. Thanks!

  • Wedding/honeymoon insurance?

I am looking into wedding insurance and travel insurance (for the honeymoon) but am not really sure what I am looking at/reading when I do the research. We are traveling to Jamaica in October, which is about the start of hurricane season, so we want to be covered in case something happens. And we just thought that a few hundred dollars to cover the wedding was good sense. Does anyone have any company recommendations or tips? Thanks!
