  • Which companies have good, quality funeral expense coverage?

Interested in a policy for my grandmother. We had a representative from Lincoln Heritage Funeral Advantage come by and explains their policy, however, my grandmother has a friend with Modern Woodmen of America who enjoys staying with them.

I tried to do a bit of research but there aren't many comparisons when it comes to funeral expense insurance. Has anyone had any experience with in this regard?

    Thanks in advance.

  • 1995 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6 4x4 issue. Need help!?

This came up today for the first time. I have an automatic transmission and 130K miles on my 4Runner. When I accelerate from a dead stop it almost feels like the rear wheels are spinning. Obviously that's not possible since its on pavement and I'm not flooring it, but it feels like the engine is sending the power without any results. There's also a shimmy/vibration that occurs at the same time. I also notice it when the engine is revved a bit higher when in drive. Regular cruising, however, isn't affected and feels normal.

Is this a precursor to a possible transmission problem or something a little less complicated like a drive shaft? Or am I completely off?

I know its difficult to tell without physically driving it but any knowledgeable guess is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

  • What type of fuel should I use?

The car in question is a 1995 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6 4x4. I know all the differences between regular and premium fuel so I don't need a breakdown. My question is if anyone knows the type of fuel Toyota recommends. I haven't been able to find an answer. Also, if you do own a similar rig, what type of fuel do you use and which one would you recommend?

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  • Does the window motor, the regulator or both need replacement?

My dad's 2000 Toyota Sienna LE driver's side window has been acting up for over a year now and when I drove it today I couldn't handle it anymore. You forget that its broken and next thing you know you're freezing.

Anyways, I'm 90% sure its the motor but I don't know if there is a way to find out if the regulator is at fault as well. The window rolls down fine but is almost impossible to roll back up. I know when the motor overheats it stops working, which is why I can only slowly close it in increments, but could the regulator be at fault? It rolls down fine with the help of gravity but it takes literally hours to roll it back up.

    Any help/advice/input is greatly appreciated.

  • Is an E39 BMW M5 (2000-2003) considered a future classic?

I just recently purchased a gently used, garaged, one owner example in mint condition with only 39K miles. I know cars are meant to be driven, but this one is in such pristine shape that I really don't wanna use it to run errands around town. I take it to work and maybe on a trip or two but I'm hesitant using it for a two mile stint to the local Target.

I'm debating getting an inexpensive used runaround car but I don't know if that's going to far. The M5 is a fantastic car and I just don't wanna run it into the ground with the 85% city driving that I do.

    Any help/input/advice is greatly appreciated.

  • Why is my iPod mini dead?

I've had my iPod mini 4GB for almost 3 1/2 years and I've never had a problem until today. I tried turning it on and it didn't respond. It always sits in my car hooked up to a charger so it wasn't dead and it wouldn't turn on when I hooked it up to my laptop or a power outlet. Any ideas?

  • What is the common cause for upper strut bearings to go bad?

I have a 2008 Volkswagen GTI with 15K miles and when I brought it in for service they told me my upper strut bearings had to be replaced. It is all warrantied so I'm not worried but I am curious as to what would cause that. Any input would be appreciated.

  • Window problem in 2000 Toyota Sienna LE?

My family has a 2000 Toyota Sienna LE with 116K miles on it. We've had it for over 5 years with no major issues. Not too long ago I've noticed that the driver's side window does not want to roll up and only does so very hesitantly and then stops. I then have to wait for a little to roll it up another half inch or so. I'm guessing its either a short or a window motor failure but I don't want to spend the money to get it checked out because its not a major issue. Does anyone have any other ideas as to what it could be and is there a way to diagnose the problem yourself?

Any input will be wholeheartedly appreciated. Thank you.

  • Question about international coverage?

My parents are on a cruise to Mexico. Her carrier is AT&T but she says that when she calls me, for example, instead of the AT&T letters, there's MCP letters. What does it mean? Is it a carrier in Mexico or is it something else?

  • Top Gear seasons on DVD?

Is there a way to get all of the 11 seasons of Top Gear on DVD? I've been looking all over for them and I've only found seasons 1 and 2. Did they not make the other seasons or are they labeled differently? Any input is greatly appreciated.

  • How to expand a business?

My mom has a housecleaning business she's been running by herself for 6-7 years. I've always told her that she should expand the business by getting more clients and hiring employees. I'm planning on helping her in any way possible but I'm not really sure where to start.

She works by herself at the moment. I have a few ideas on what should be done but greatly appreciate any other input as well. What does she need to do to increase her clients, hire employees and essentially make a bigger profit. Are there any legal issues involved with this?

P.S. She does have her cleaning license.

  • Should I get a cold air intake?

I have a 2008 Volkswagen GTI and I've been hearing how the cold air intake improves mpg, power, etc., but I also heard that a K&N filter has the same purpose. What is the difference between the two? Are there any long term consequences such as early wear and tear on the engine, voided warranty, etc? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

  • Any problems?

I have a 2008 Volkswagen GTI with 9,787 miles on it, however it had to be towed into service today because the coolant was leaking. All this is covered under warranty of course but I'm still curious as to why a car with under 10K would have such an issue. This is my third car and its the first time I've had a problem like this. Anybody with similar issues or suggestions regarding the 2.0T FSI, I would grealty appreciate your input.
