So hear it is.....Why does it seem like it is okay in society for swingers to do what they do but for consentual adults to enter into a multi-wife relationship get frowned on?

I am not talking about the illegal marrying of teenage underage brides stuff that is on the news. I am talking about 3 consenting ADULTS entering into a loving, trusting meaningful relationship. Where is the harm in something like that? Who does it hurt? I am talking about a relationship that is not based on SEX....but a real true marriage. But on the other hand people in society look at swingers as consenting people do something that both partners are into. There are clubs for them to get together at, they have parties at one anothers home and I have seen ads for them........these are relationships and friendship based on sex alone!!

So why does society turn their cheek to these people and groups and let them be........but the couples that want to have something meaningful and lasting get shunned?

My wife ran across a post on craigslist the 3rd week of Nov. A single mom in need 4 teen kids, 2 of her sisters teen kids and their 2 babies. We were told sister was in the hospital. And her kids had always been with their father who dumped them, and she wanted them to have a good christmas. She said she was on SSI. & so no money. She wanted a bike for her oldest so she could go between school/work. Then a little while ago we heard the little money she had went to her dad's hip operation. And after we told her we were buying some PS2 games for her sons ps2 we were told a week later ps2 is broken. And now one of her daughters wants a puppy because step mom got rid of theirs. And now sister is out of the hospital went to Indiana to be with their other dad (now the one w/the hip is step dad) who is in serious condition due to motorcycle accident. So where did the $ for that come from. Then she wanted us to go get a free dog as no money for gas that someone on craigs is giving away

It angers me when people post questions about a seriously ill pet with symptoms that they have to know are serious. Why aren't they calling their vet's office instead of posting. A good vet will tell you if they need to be seen immediately or can wait. And what you should do in the mean time. I can see posting questions about a condition or something you have already seen the vet for and are just asking further information or for people who have had similar situations. But it angers me that there are so many ignorant pet owners many of whom probably don't even have a good relationship with a vet or even know basic information about dogs.Every pet owner should educate themselves about their pet including species, etc. That is basic common SENSE.

Is it just me or do all the gaping smile empty mouth avatars people have on Q&A make them look ridiculous???????? Not trying to offend it's just to me they don't look like this super happy smile, they look like dorky! What's your opinion?
