Joseph Fourier in 1824 discovered the greenhouse effect. It states More C02=warmer planet. When oil and coal was taken out of the carbon cycle millions of years ago and turned into coal and oil it cooled down the earth, now man has dug this stuff up burned it and put the Carbon back into the cycle and warmed up the earth. C02 censors tell us its concentrations are going up. Thermomoters tell us the temperatures are going up. Isn't this pretty straight forward?

I used local clay from some streetwork here in lincoln nebraska to make a small pot. I sucsesfully bisque fired it with charcoal in an old clay fondation tile. Would a slurry of ash clay and water work as a glaze? will the charcoal get hot enough to fire the glaze? If not is there any way to make potter glaze I can fire with charcoal using locally found materials?
