Can I sue kmart for canceling a Christmas layaway and not contacting me about it. I paid for it in full on December 19th, 2012 and have bank records to show that they did take the money out (December 21st, 2013 is when the payment was processed). I tried to call several times but the 800 customer service number keep hanging up on me so I eventually emailed them on January 2nd, 2013 and demanded that they send me the children's clothes and toys or they refund my money. They wrote back 3 days later saying that my layaway had been automatically canceled and that the funds should not have been taken out of my account - which they were. I wrote them back stating that I have not recieved my refund yet. So they wrote back 5 days ago saying they had "technical difficulties" and I should recieved my money back in 5 to 10 days. I sent them a follow up email today. I mean come on 30 days, and I still have to wait 5 more...I obviously used layway because I am not made of money. Plus, it was winter clothes and christmas toys for my children. I guess my question is can I sue kmart if my money is not returned in next 5 days? I am in peirce county, wa if it makes a difference. Also, if I do have a case what do I do next because I am utterly clueless about all that?

3 adults , 2 children ( ages 5 and 2). I don ' t have much money. I need to get from Naples , Italy Greenock , Scotland to get to my mother her medicine and only have 30 days to do it. My mother will remain with his family in Scotland. So the return trip is only 2 adults and 2 children ( ages 2 and 5).

I am starting to become very frustrated; my son will be two years old on 21st of March 2010. During the evaluation for autism one doctor says that he has a speech delay and he doesn't believe that he is autistic but he suggests to further watch his developmental progress because my child does have autistic-like symptoms (such as the gestational upsets, temper tantrums, and he ignores strangers and the doctors believes that he doesn't make eye contact but he does with me and the rest of the family and close family friends) but asides from speaking less than 20 words he has hit all the milestones of his age group. This doctor has seen my son more than once and knows more about the family.

The other doctor says that he has autism and has the development of a 9 month old (this doctor only saw my son once and that was on the day of the evaluation and I had my son up since 0430 because I needed to make formation and then go to the appointment).

I started the early intervention program but they already said there isn't much help they can offer because we are about to PCS in a few weeks and it takes up to 45 days for all the paperwork and to re-evaluate him with their specialists.

I am so frustrated; I don't have any clear answers and I probably won't either because I am the active duty mom and will most likely be gone when we go to the next duty station. I don't believe that my son has autism; I just don't know what it is that he does have because besides from the fact that he doesn't talk he is just like any other toddler and he mimics everything his sister and Karen does. He says words and he associates those words in context but he only does that with 12 words regularly (not 20) and when he says something like "here you go" or "love you mama" it sounds like one word not a sentence. And his words aren't clear understood if you were a stranger. Is this normal process for a newly introduced parent of an autistic child? Where do I look for more information? What should I do to help him with the time I am allotted until he is properly diagnosed? I am the active duty military member, how does this affect my child? Should I plan on not re-enlisting to dedicate more time to him?

From my perspective what will happen socially is that we will work, we will have sex, we will have war, we will have babies, we will die (and it will repeat like that until the next century comes and goes though maybe not in that particular order). From my perspective on technological milestones I think we could succeed in blowing ourselves up or having a hoovering car.

So what do you think will happen over the next 100 years in terms of social and technological milestones?

Some people say that bad behavior is somtimes just a phase. However, mental illness runs in my family. Am I being paranoid? If not, I don't believe that if that is what is was I would put them on medication just find ways to better understand and care for them. What would be your opinion?

My step-daughter is flying in for the summer and our 7 year anniversary will happen while she is here. On I whim I thought it would be a great idea to have a beach renewal ceremony (we eloped) and the reception at the beach park and then take all the kids camping. I don't really want anything big and I am in the military so my family and friends are far from Hawaii and can't afford to come on a whim (timeline is in a few weeks). I want to dress all the little girls up in flower girl dresses and be a bride for a day and take lots of pictures. My wedding party is made up of children. And the only guests that will be there are my mother and my son's god parents. And since it will be in a few weeks I can't really do very much budget-wise.

Would it be terribly tacky to line the aisle with beach balls, seat the guests in beach chairs and umbrellas and have a totally beach themed party and maybe coming to shore on a kayak. The wedding dress and flower girl dresses will be short in length and light (the weather will be around 90 degrees and it is on the beach in Hawaii). The groom and my 13 month old son (the ring bearer) will be wearing light khaki pants or shorts and a white short sleeved button down. Shoes are optional and no formal dress code. Then have the reception at the beach park and rent a bounce house and have a BBQ. Afterwards, let my mom have the beach cabin and take the kids camping at the beach?

After buying one of those brides magazines it sounded cheap and tacky but I thought at first it sounded cute, simple, family oriented and outdoorsy (and a little romantic). Which is exactly how we are...what do you think?

We adopted a puppy, Mac (he is now 4 months old he is chihuahua/fox terrier) but we have also had Lina for going on 2 years now and we have had her since she was a puppy and was our first dog ever (Lina is an extremely smart lab/german shepard); Lina has separation anxiety. I have had zero success in crate training her before because of the separation anxiety. But now since we have moved into a bigger house with a new puppy and a new baby things are crazy!!! It's like we never trained Lina in anything!!! I must crate train them. They have established their order but that is about it. I can't train/re-train them when they start fighting for my attention. HELP!!!

I have never been afraid of heights before. In fact, my job demands it of me. I have never fallen or anything like that to develop a sudden traumatic experience. I am temporally on 50mg of Zoloft help with postpartum depression. Could my hormones or medication have anything to do with it? I have never felt fear like that before. My whole body was shaking, I turned chalk white, my heart was racing, I sweating like crazy....I had no problem getting up there or back down it was swinging over it to get to the other side to get down that got me. I just don't understand...

I am going to have baby boy in a couple of weeks; I want to make something for him but I am low on artistic inspiration. I don't want to make a blanket or booties...I'll leave that up to Granny. Plus, I live in Hawaii so it would be impractical anyway...any suggestions???

This is my second pregnancy. Second time I have ever felt such severe tooth pain. The last time I was pregnant the dentist said I had an absess and needed a root canal (one of my front teeth) but had to wait until after the baby was born. Now that I am pregnant again...it hurts just as bad and just the same...Can pregnant women get root canals??? What should I do in the meantime to dull the pain??? It hurts so badly....
