Truth, be more precious to me than the eyes Of happy love; burn hotter in my throat Than passion; and possess me like my pride; More sweet than freedom; more desired than joy; More sacred than the pleasing of a friend.
The corona pandemic occurs and Trump withdraws support for The Who. The pandemic spikes and Trump withholds funds from testing sites?
....and the boob now wants the Supreme Court to declare universal health care to be unconstitutional. Does anyone think the idiot is rational? Trump fanatics: please refrain calling me names, usually involving excrement, that do not answer the question. If you can, justify what the nut-job has done.
13 AnswersPolitics10 months agoTrump supporters: Please tell me how you rationalize and defend Trump's mistakes concerning the current pandemic.?
He did nothing for a month when preventative steps could have been taken. He dismissed the disease as not very worrisome; he advocated antimalarial drugs as a cure; and now he insists on his ridiculous and deadly intention to stop isolation and allow factories and businesses to re-open.
13 AnswersHomework Help1 year agoDoes anyone see a difference between Trump's description and the facts?
Trump says Baghdadi died, whimpering like a dog. He was asked to surrender. Would a coward, who wouldn't die if he surrendered, blow himself up?

Each time I attempt to answer a question, I am not given the option to post my answer.

In philosophy it is rare that I am as certain of my answer as I am for this one. I'd like those of you who care to, share your thoughts with me and, if you can, tell me why.

5 AnswersPDAs & Handhelds1 decade agoWhy does the burning of natural gas produce less carbon dioxide than the burning of coal?
This was mentioned on NPR and, being a chemist, it doesn't make sense. Burning any form of carbon completely produces carbon dioxide, and stoiciometrically, it shouldn't matter the form in which the carbon exists.
1 AnswerChemistry1 decade agoWhy is oxygen 18 more soluble in cold water than oxygen 16?
Obviously it has something to do with the physical characteristics of the isotope, but I haven't a clue what they may be. Can anyone help?
1 AnswerPhysics1 decade agoWhy is the speed of a sail boat limited by the length of the hull?
It's pretty funny. I've asked this question three times now, and the second time some bozo picked the answer given as the best answer. IT DIDN'T ANSWER THE QUESTION! GIVE ME THE PHYSICS PLEASE!!!
3 AnswersPhysics1 decade agoHow can I download a tv episode of a program to my dvd port on my dell computer?
I've missed several episodes of "Terminator, The Sarah Connor Chronicles" which are available on the internet. I'm afraid I'm computer illiterate and would like someone to walk me through the process. I've got a Dell laptop Windows XP computer. Help!
1 AnswerOther - Computers1 decade agoWhy is the limit of the speed of a sail boat dependent upon the length of the hull?
I've been told that it has to do with the length of the wave that the boat generates while moving through the water, but I don't understand why that's a limiting factor. I'm referring to boats that displace water as they move, and not those that ride on top of the water such as hydrofoils or catmarans.
3 AnswersPhysics1 decade agoHow can a sail boat achieve speeds faster than the velocity of the wind?
I know, or think I know, that ice boats can go 100 mph, which makes no sense to me: I would assume you could only go as fast as the speed of the wind. Is this only true if you're sailing with the wind at your back?
5 AnswersPhysics1 decade agoMy bread always loses its shape and ends up wide and flat. Can someone help me make a decent loaf of bread?
I'm currently using Julia childs' cook book and following the directions carefully. It doesn't matter. The shaped loaf always spreads out, and when baked, has a dense texture with small air spaces. If I attempt to slash the tops, the loaf collapses more completely. HELP!!
4 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoShakespeare quote:.....manish coward...?
I'm almost sure it's from "The Merrchant of Venice", but I can't find it. Two women dress as men and one of them says somethng like: ".....we'll have a swash and a swagger as many a mannish coward has."
