Why is oxygen 18 more soluble in cold water than oxygen 16?
Obviously it has something to do with the physical characteristics of the isotope, but I haven't a clue what they may be. Can anyone help?

Robert tried, and I am grateful, but valence has nothing to do with the physical properties of oxygen. Chemically, they are identical. The difference in solubility must be explained by some physical difference. Does anyone know what it is?
