  • Would This PC Build Run Games Like Minecraft And World Of Warcraft Really Efficiently At Maximum Quality, etc. Without Problems?

    - Intel Core i5-3570 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor

    - Asus Z77-A ATX LGA1155 Motherboard

    - Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

    - Samsung 840 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

    - Western Digital WD SE 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

    - EVGA GeForce GT 640 2GB Video Card

I am a noob at this stuff so any improvements in terms of price and quality would be perfect as well as a recommendation on the case, a cooling system (just in case plus its cheap) and a power supply. I am going for $750-$1000 so if you could keep all the hardware in that price range (excluding case, power supply and cooling system) that would awesome!

Also, remember I am only going to be playing Minecraft and World Of Warcraft for quite some time before I might decide to do something that requires better specs so I just want to know if this setup (or anything like it that you can recommend which is cheaper) will run those games and just basic things very, very smoothly with no problems at all. REMEMBER, ALL I AM LOOKING FOR IS A YES OR NO, IF NO THEN IMPROVEMENTS IF POSSIBLE AND IF YES THEN RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CHEAPER THINGS INCASE THIS IS TOO MUCH.

    Thanks

  • Monitor For (mostly) Console Gaming?

OK. So I play Competitive Call of Duty (A very fast paced (when competitive) FPS game for those who dont know) and I am looking for a monitor to buy. What I definitely want is:

    - 23/24 inch

    - LED

    - 1-2ms Response Time

    - $150 - $300

I have found some monitors which I am pretty happy with and I mostly am asking which one is better/more worth it. So the two monitors are:

    - ASUS VN247H

    - BenQ RL2455HM

    - ASUS VX238H

I think that the RL is better overall, but I read that it was for PC gaming such as StarCraft, while the GL is perfect for console gaming and that a lot of Pro Cod players use it so I want to know which one to get. I don't mind spending the extra money for the RL as long as it's better for fast paced FPS's on the console than the GL (which, as stated above, is preferable for cosole gaming). Also, no "techy" answers please because I won't have a clue what you're saying, sorry. I just want to know what is a better choice for fast paced FPS's on the console...And one more thing, if you give me other monitors, make sure they have what I wrote above. THANKS IF YOU HELP, IT MEANS A LOT :)

  • 60Hz Enough For Console Gaming?

Ok, so I play mainly Call of Duty and Halo 4 on the XBOX 360 and I want to buy either the PS4 or XBOX One later. For the XBOX One I want to get BattleField 4, Call of Duty Ghosts, GTA 5 and for the XBOX 360 I wanna get COD Ghosts. Anyway, I want to get a monitor (ASUS VN247H or ASUS VX238H) which have 60Hz. I want to know if any games that I play now and want to buy will be more than 60 FPS. Remember, this is console, so Im guessing the max is 60 FPS, which will work if I have a monitor with 60Hz. Also, tell me if the monitor is good, I really like it and it is pretty cheap:

    - 1ms Response Time

    - Good Price

    - LED + 23 Inches

  • Possible growth spurt or not?

Okay, so I just turned 15 yrs old and I am 5ft 3 - 5ft 4. I haven't had a growth spurt, I've always been growing slower than my friends. I am in school with many people who's ages vary, e.g. I have 2 18yr olds in my class a couple od 17 and 16s aswell as 15s. All of them are taller than me and so is practically the whole school. This leads to it being hard to fit in with other people except from my friends and it's definitely because of my height. These people are ridiculously prejudice. Anyway, that wasnt the point, I couldnt be assed to care about em, all I want to know is if and possibly when it could happen. I have no armpit or facial hair, but I have a lot of pubic hair and my penis is 5.5 inches (have no idea if its revelant, but yh...extra info...) and I have recently started smelling a whole lot more, my voice deepened a bit and I have had grown a lot more hair on my legs. My parents are both 5ft 6 - 5ft 7 and my dad was also small, but started growing a bit late. Not sure about my mum. I really want this growth burst and I want to know if it's possible and when, as stated above. Anyway, thanks to everyone who comments :)

  • How fast is 20Mbps download (bits obviously)?

Let me just start of by saying it is 5mbps upload aswell. Ok, so I play competitive Call of Duty and connection is very, very important. Also, my brother downloads a lot of movies so it will help him as well as help me have a lot of browers open and be able to multitask while uploading/dowloading things. Its also a good deal so Im down for it if its fast.

  • Which of these PC's have a better performance?

So I want to build a PC which I will use for Photoshop, a bit of After Effects and Cinema 4D and online MMORPG's like Runescape. I might get into heavier editing work and gaming (like Diablo 3, League of Legends or Skyrim) so I want a lot of RAM and a good graphics card and I might also ugrade my Intel processor and overclock it if I decide to get into "heavier" gaming. OK, so these are the PC's:

    - i5-3750

    - 16GB Ram (1600MHz)

    - 1TB HDD (7200RPM) + 128GB SSD

    - NVIDIA GTX 650 (2GB)

    or this:

    - AMD FX-8350

    - 16GB Ram

    - 1TB HDD (7200RPM) + 128GB SSD

    - AMD Radeon 7850 (2GB)

  • Is this a good PC build?

i5-3750 Processor (I might get an i5-3750K and overclock it, but since I won't be needing it much now, Ima probably leave it at i5-3750. Also an i7-3770, as I've heard (from professionals) would barely change anything so spending the extra 100 bucks wouldnt be worth it and it would be better to upgrade in a couple of years time).

16GB Ram (so I dont upgrade later when I get into heavier work/gaming, plus its SUPPER cheap compared to the rest so I'm definately willing to spend the extra 50 bucks).

1TB HDD (7200 RPM) + 128GB SSD (for extra speed)

GTX 660 (I figured Ti would be too much and 660 would give me more than enough)

A Z77 Motherboard (a lot of them are the same so I dont really need an intake on which one to get) Maybe an ASUS Sabertooth

Microsoft 7 Home Premium 64 bit

  • Is this a good PC build (for non gaming)?

The price is a couple of hundred bucks less then I was looking to spend so telling me this is too good is no point. BTW, I work with Photoshop and only a lil' bit with After Effects and Cinema 4D.

    - Gaming Case (incase I get into gaming, plus it's good and cheap)

    - ASUS P8H77 Motherboard

    - i5-3570

    - 8GB Ram (1600MHz)

    - 1TB HDD (7200RPM)

    - GT610 (is an Intel 2000 enough)
