  • Options for Junior Hockey?

Hi, I'm a '95 goaltender who's looking to go to university next year. I have junior A Tier 1/2 experience and want to continue playing at a high level. I realize colleges in European nations don't have organizations like the NCAA and CIS with scholarships and whatnot but I was wondering if I were to get on a Major Junior team in one of the European nations would I be able to pay for school with the money they make or is it simply just a small stipend like in Major Juniors in Canada? I'm open to all leagues and Universities. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

  • Options for hockey????

Hi, so I'm a '95 goaltender who has been on several teams throughout the NAHL and SIJHL. I am a senior in high school and want to go to school next year as education comes first as I don't see myself playing hockey for a living, although I feel I could play in college but there is where the predicament lies. My parents had me apply to one of the service academys (I'm not going to disclose which one) because the coach showed some interest in me and wanted me to apply. The problem is it's club and I've been working towards the dream of playing in the NCAA/Very competitive Atmosphere since I was a young kid and want to play quality hockey. I've looked into things like the CIS, NCAA D3, etc. but I just don't know what I should do. What are the chances of getting to play overseas while paying for college with the pay? I'm talking lower professional/Major Junior such as the MHL in russia.

  • Questions about NCAA rules?

I know it's against the rules for a potential athelte to particpate in an NCAA school's practices if he/she is not enrolled at that university. I was wondering if this was only for Division 1 or if there was anyway around this rule? Like could you practice if you had already applied to the school and been accepted but had not chosen to attend?

    Thank you

  • Looking to play Junior A Hockey in Europe?

Hi, I'm a goaltender from Pennsylvania, USA. I'm 18 and have Junior A experience in the NAHL and SIJHL. I'm looking to play mostly anywhere in Europe however I'd prefer leagues such as the MHL, Swiss Elite Junior A, or the top league in France as I have 5 years of French under my belt and I feel that would be the easiest adaptation. If you have any information or teams that may be interested please feel free to comment below.

    Thanks

  • College Hockey options?

Hi, I'm a goaltender who was recently released from both teams who owned my rights in the SIJHL and the NAHL. I'm becoming pretty discouraged honestly as I can't seem to crack back into the Junior A scene and I just wanna attend college this upcoming year. I know that you have to play in the NAHL, USHL, or other high level juniors to play Division 1 in the NCAA however I'm looking at other options. I've emailed many D3 teams as well as CIS schools however I was wondering what other options exist for players who have some high level junior experience outside of the NCAA.

    Thank you very much.

  • Can somebody give me some information on Junior Hockey leagues in Europe?

I'm a goaltender from Pennsylvania and was recently released from both a team in the NAHL and a team in the SIJHL. These are both Junior A Tier 2 leagues and I was wondering if somebody could suggest a similar caliber league in the European countries and provide some basic info on it (Amount of Americans, cost to play if any, etc.)

    Thank you very much.

  • Question concerning NCAA Hockey D1 Eligibility?

Alright, so this year I will be playing Junior A up in Canada (Not Major Junior) and I had a question about my NCAA eligibility. This is my senior year in highschool and I plan on spending more than 4 years in college so my question was if I decided to play juniors for an additional two years after highschool ('95 birthyear right now) and took my basic college classes online would it affect my NCAA eligibility to play division 1 college hockey? Thank you very much.

  • Best place to play hockey?

Hi, I am looking for a location to play next season and I was examing a few options. I am a '95 birthyear and a goaltender. The options I was contemplated included the NA3HL, the Mnjhl, the EJHL, a lower end NAHL, or a prep school. I was looking for costs of these leagues as well as examples of teams in each area (such as prep schools and prices, NA3HL teams and prices, etc.) Thank you very much.

  • I have to "skip" a year of hockey? Help!?

Alright, please read this whole thing. Alright, so my parents don't want me to leave home this year to play Junior A hockey (USA) in the Mnjhl or the EJHL because they feel I am too young. I am a '95 Goaltender. Alright, so prior to this year, I have always played at this organization but this year they were not fielding an 18u AA team which is the normal level I play at because my parents don't believe in AAA and they think it is a money thing although I've practiced with 3 of the 4 local AAA teams in my area via invite. Alright so anyway I was going to play on a team that was an hour and a half away from my home because it was one of the best 18u AA teams in the state but my parents decided the drive was too much so I couldn't play. Now I am teamless for this season but my parents are saying that if I go to Junior Showcase Camps and stuff like that, I will get a tender offer from one of the Junior Teams I have been talking too for the year after this and they will be impressed with me despite me not having an official team this year outside of adult leagues and practices with local Junior teams. What do you think? What should I do??? Thank you very much.

  • Visual Basic Help!!!?

ok, so ive been trying for the past 3 hours to make a program that is supposed to import players names and golf scores but when i go to import them it will only import one number or when I set it to import the string values that are the names....it crashes. Would anyone know how to build a program that would do this, it would be greatly appreciated. All that is on the form is a listbox and a button. Im trying to use an array because I have to sort the scores and names by lowest to highest scores, but in golf lowest is best so those come first...please help!
