  • Could I be allergic to Iodine?

    I have a had two major reactions to Ct Scan Contrast that I ingested and seafood (shrimp).

    When I had the Ct Scan Contrast: I ingested it. I became very warm, my throat began to close and I was Hallucinating. I felt like I was high. All the colors were 3D and my breathing was slowing down. Then my throat began to close and I couldn't breath. This was all within twenty minutes of ingesting the dye. The nurse actually stopped me and put something in my IV.

    I recently ate shrimp and had the same reaction.

    Could I be allergic to iodine?

    I also have allergies, eczema, psoriasis, asthma, hypoglycemia and a thyroid issue.
