  • What are the differences between....?

    In a very broad sense, what is the difference between the terms "animus nocendi" and "mens rea"? Both apparently refer to thoughts leading to an act contrary to law - though animus nocendi seems to be more specific in the details of the thoughts and plans leading to the commission of the illegal act.

    The Latin terms are different but the general meaning seem to be the same as far as I'm concerned.

  • A e-book version of Quran?

    Is there a generic ebook recitation of the Quaran, or even a text version?

    There seems to be good program for the iPhone and iTouch (ipod touch) but I'll need anything similar for older readers such as the Video Classic.

  • What is the lethal dosage of alcohol in mice?

    second time around, no answer first time.

    I've found quite a bit of info on toxicity on various alcohols on humans and mice, but the LD50 doses I've seen listed have been oral or by inhalation. I'm looking for the injected (im or abdominal) LD50 of ethyl alcohol in an average 25 gram lab rat (or the general ml/L value) Lethal values of methanol and isopropanol would be appreciated as well.
