Last night my laptop shut down suddenly. When i press the power button i can feel something inside of it try to start. I can feel it vibrate for a moment then nothing happens.

The screen does not light up at all. The power icon on the case is lit but dull. The battery icon lights up brightly for a moment then goes off. no lights on the keyboard light up.

Any idea on the cause?

It started with a toothache. I thought I would need to go see a dentists but before i got the chance it spread to other teeth, then top teeth. and eventually my ear. and now my temple hurts and starts hurting worse if I put any pressure on it.

sometimes the entire left side of my face throbs and hurts. i thought it might have been a ear infection but now i'm not so sure.

any ideas?

My mother asked me about a book she read a while back. I read it too but can't remember the title.

It starts out in somewhere like Saudi Arabia. A female ship captain had been captured by a slaver and was put on a auction block. She was bought by a rich sultan. A English lord was in the crowd and was angry so he went to rescue her. He got her away and back to her parents then was knocked out by his friend and smuggled out of the country.

they didn't see each other again for many years and each remembered the other but didn't say anything to the other. they were neighbors or something in england. then the pirate slaver guy that caught her initially came back after her again and some maps she has and she got kidnapped again.

it may have the word pirate in the title. can't remember any character names or the authors name. it was the author's first book.

My laptop goes dead when, according to the battery meter, I've still got more than 30% left. And I never receive a warning telling me my battery is about to die.

Does this mean my battery is going bad?
