10 AnswersInternet1 decade agoWhy does my Pool Filter fills with air within minutes? I can't see an obvious leak. How can I fix it?
I have a pool filter that fills up with air very quickly. That means that most of the filter then is not used for filtering water. After I open the valve on top of the filter to remove the air it will fill up again after 5 minutes or so. There are no obvious leaks to see. I looked at the pump, at the filter itself, and where the ozonator is connected. Somewhere the air has to come in, but I don't know how to find out. Any suggestions appreciated on how to tackle this.
