  • Is it OK that your girlfriend went to a party at the Playboy Mansion and didn't take you?

You are hanging out with your girlfriend on Friday night.

You have plans to go together to a wedding the following weekend (8 days from then).

Your girlfriend has a ticket (that they have had and known about for a few days) to attend a party at the World Famous Playboy Mansion where they can bring a date for the following night.

They aren't sure that they are going but still neglect to mention to you that they have said tickets.

2 days later you are hanging out and they finally mention (to your surprise and this is the first time you hear anything about it) that they went to a party at the PlayBoy Mansion and took another guy.

Should you be mad? If so how mad? Should you forgive them? What should they do to make it up to you?

  • Will an upconverting DVD player be much better than the XBox 360 stock DVD player?

I just bought an XBOx 360 and a Plasma Television.

I am using the HD outputs from the XBox to connect it to my TV.

The XBox built in player is progressive scan (but not HD or upconverting).

If I purchase an upconverting DVD player will I notice a real difference in the image quality?

  • Will this affect my auto insurance rate?

I accidentally hit a poll, no one was injured.

Only damage to my front bumper.

I went to a body shop and the estimate is ~$2000.

    My deductible is $500.

Should I go through my insurance or just pay it out of pocket?

Will a claim automatically make my insurance go up?

    I am a 29 y/o married male with a clean driving record.

  • My 7mo baby hates eating, what should I do?

My 7mo daughter is currently on antibiotics for an ear infection, and has been for over a week. In the last few days, she gets angry whenever I try to feed her. She still drinks milk/breastfeeds just fine, but she refuses to eat solids. For example, all she ate today was approx. 4 spoonfulls of sweet potatos. She normally eats much more. Should I be worried about this? Should I try to force her to eat? Or avoid the confrontation?

  • Do girl scouts wear pants?

Do girl scouts have the options of wearing pants or do they have to wear skirts?

The reason I ask is because as a new father (my daughter was born Feb 14th, 2006) I am not sure if I should support a potentially sexist group.

  • Is it worth buying a car at the dealer?

Having crappy cars through highschool and college that were never reliable I decided to buy a "new" car October 2004.

I purchased a 2003 Honda Civic with 23k miles on it.

I bought it at a Honda dealership as a certified preowned vehicle and I also paid an extra $700 to get the manufacturer warranty fully extended until 100k miles.

I don't really intend on keeping the car that long, but the warranty is transferable.

Anyway, I got a fairly decent interest rate and I dont think I over paid too much at the dealer.

But I was just looking at the amount that I have paid in car payments the last 13 months and also the down payment and seeing what I could sell the car for now and it is all just plain depressing.

Is buying cars at dealerships just simply not a good idea?

Or if you are really risk adverse is it worth paying the premium?

I guess i must be as I paid the premium...

Either way, any suggestions on the best way to purchase cars?
