I earlier asked a question about buying tires and one of the answers (by Professor Prius) implied that he changes his oil every 3000 instead of 5000 miles like the manual says to do. I assume he would know better than I what to do, so I'm asking if I should switch to that schedule as well. Also, should I switch to the tune-up every 9k while I'm at it?

I have a 2004 Prius and I keep hearing about low rolling resistance tires and how they make cars like 5% more efficient. Is it a specific category of tires (like snow tires) or what? Can't seem to find an LRR designation on any tires on any tire company websites.

We live in Chicago, IL and we went to school in New York. She's 23. Her bf is still in college which is why they broke up. I can't think of anything to do with her that would make her feel better. All of her friends that are girls still live back East, but I'm a guy so I obviously suck at making her feel better.

I've never built my own computer before. I'd like to use it as a media center for my apartment, so I'd like to make sure I'm getting good quality of the parts I need and not wasting money on things I don't need. If I can get a high quality prduct for less than I can build it for, point me in the right direction on that side of it.

I came upon some Bose stereo speakers and subwoofer circa ten years ago. You don't plug them in, they just have holes for speaker wire to be connected into. What is the cheapest way I can use them with a new tv that has no speaker wire clips, (only plugs)

I have an IBM thinkpad laptop and I wireless keyboard and mouse. I'd like to just leave my laptop on top of my TV closed and use the TV as my monitor. What kind of connector cable do I need if this is possible?

I am a 24 yr old male living with a 24 yr old female in a 2 bed room apartment. Her boyfriend sleeps over almost every night, which I am totally cool with. He is strapped for cash, and she wants to ask him to move in with us and pay a portion of our rent so he can save money. I can easily afford my rent, and don't really like the idea of a third roommate even though I like him. I don't want to appear unsympathtic, so I'd like to give her a really good reason why I don't think it is a good idea.

I'm recently out of college, and dating slows down a lot I am finding. I'd like to see her every day after I first meet her, but it seems to work better waiting a few days before I ask her out again. What is a good time frame to not seem to desperate but not lose her interest either?
