I know the answer, it's x2 = 1.8 x 10^-6 and x = 1.3 x 10^-3 M = [H+]

What I don't understand is how to solve for x....I can make it to x2 with book help, but not for x

I was at an Air Show today and I watched the USAF Thunderbirds (Amazing stuff). I was wondering if one of these jets had a full tank of JP8 fuel and went full throttle until all fuel was exhausted, how far or how many miles could the Jet go??? Just curious ;)

At the mouth of the river, why doesn't the salt water push into the rivers?

I've noticed that my resting heart beat doesn't jump or skip except for the occasional palpitation...instead, it speeds up/slows down for 3 or 4 beats then returns to normal. Is it normal for resting or even post workout heart rate to speed up and slow down within one minute? Below are some details about me.

I have been athletic most of my life...the last 3 years I drank pretty heavy which raises my blood pressure and packed on the pounds...a few months ago I trashed the boos and went back into the gym.

I've been light headed the past couple of weeks, I'm just trying to figure out if these numbers are ok.

I have to do a short 2-3 page history research paper. It has to be on something that is important to history and why. It has to be something that has happened from 1877 to present day. That does give me a lot of options but I just don't know what to do. I was thinking about the Women's Suffrage but it looks like that started BEFORE 1877 so I changed my topic to The 2008 Presidential Election. I think I might go with that but I would like a few more ideas before committing to that. Any ideas would be appreciated!

One of my headlights went out Thursday night. Then the other went out Friday night. Both of my bright lights still work though. So I am thinking that my bulbs just went out. I called Jiffy Lube to see if they could fix it and they said it's possible there could be a short but if it's just the bulb then they can fix it but when I took it in there they could not get the headlight assembly out....or something like that. I am female so I don't really know what they are talking about. So I am wondering....if it IS a short what could have caused a short? We have had a ton of snow here lately and so I dunno if water might have gotten inside and caused a short. Or do you think that is just blown bulbs? I am just wondering. I am going to take it to a real mechanic tommorow but I am jsut wanting to know what to expect. I have a 2003 Honda CIvic EX

I put 3 netflix movies in the mail today after the mail had already run. I put the flag up and left for work. I came home tonite and the mailbox was wide open, the flag still up, and I had a weird feeling about that so I checked the mailbox and the movies were gone. I guess I am not suprised because we have a few trouble teens that live in our neighborhood that our always doing stuff liek setting mailboxes on fire, painting grafitti on stop signs, and knocking on doors and running off. Someone called the police on them but I guess it didn't sink it. Their parents think their children are angels so the parents won't do anything. So anyways, what am I supposed to do? Can I somehow file this as a federal offense? And is Netflix going to make me pay for these movies? There is no link to click on in the netflix site about stolen movies. Just LOST movies and it means I will have to pay for the movies. I can click that I mailed them and netflix never recieved them but I don't think they will believe me because it was 3 movies and not one. Anyone have any advice?

I recently started a diet and I have been drinking Boost Energy drinks in the morning to replace my breakfast. I am not sure if this is a good idea though because it has 240 calories in this small little bottle. It has 23 grams of sugar and 41 carbs. It has 4 grams of fat. Does anyone have any advice on drinking this as a breakfast? Would there be any better replacements?

The engine light keeps coming on in my car. It came on all of a sudden when I started my car the other day and it stayed on for 2 or 3 days and then it finally turned off. I thought it was just a fluke but it came back on today while I was driving. I don't notice anything unusual happening with my car other than it seems like it is working a little harder to speed up but other than that it seems fine. What could the issue be?

I have two dogs....beagle terrier mixes. We had a really bad snow storm and still have about a foot and a half of snow. They will go pee in the snow but they refuse to go poo. I keep taking them out because I know they have not gone poo since at least Saturday and I am sure they need to go but they just won't go. We have cleared a little pathway for them so there is some grass but they still won't go. What can we do to help them to use the bathroom because I am sure they are really uncomfortable and I don't want them to get sick?

My husband had a semen analysis and the Dr told him he has low motility and a hormone imbalance. He goes back to the dr for a follow up and to see if it can be corrected but in the mean time we are still TTC. We don't want to stop trying but at the same time I am wondering if there is any possibility of us getting pregnant at this time? Any advice, tips, facts, and suggestions are accepted.

My husband went for a semen analysis because we have been trying for over two years now to get pregnant. The dr said his sperm do not have good motility and something else about a hormone imbalance or something. Not sure about the hormone imbalance. The dr gave him this information over the phone while my husband was at work so he couldn't really ask questions because he was at a customers house. He will be going back in for a follow up so he will get more info but in the mean time can anyone give us more info? I understand what motility is but is it something that is fixable? And what about the hormone imbalance? Any info and advice and personal experience is welcomed. We just want to make sure we will be able to have children eventually.

My husband went to the dr to get her sperm count/mobility checked. If it turns out he has some type of issue will the dr be able to correct it by prescribing a medication? We are in our first steps of figuring out why we havenot concieved after 2 years of trying so we really do not know what to expect.
