I am a single male who is having his first dinner party and want to make a great first impression on my new friends. I bought some sanitary napkins instead of regular napkins because they seem higher quality than a regular napkin - they certainly cost more! They also said "super absorbent" on the packaging which will come in handy if someone spills! So the question is, I can't roll the silverwear into these napkins like they do at some restaurants, so how should I set up the place setting to make that great first impression?

I need a wake up call in the morning at the hotel I'm staying at. Is it unacceptable to ask the attractive front desk worker to call me at 6:45am to wake me and act like she is a phone sex worker and talk dirty to me to wake me up? I mean I'm paying $59.99 a night at this hotel and believe it is their responsibility to serve me as a customer.

I did. A year later, she is still on the pill. Is she cheating on me?!?

If they know everything, can they evade death if they know the time, date and how they'll die?

From Reuters, President Barack Obama pledged on Friday to repeal labor laws enacted under his Republican predecessor George W. Bush that unions have long contended favored employers over workers. The first order (of Barack) will prevent taxpayer money from being used to reimburse federal contractors who spend money "trying to influence the formation of unions."

1. If unions are so great, why don't they start up their own companies and pay the exhorbitant wages and foster an employee culture of lazyness? Should they start their own Auto company?

2. Will Barack Obama also sign law preventing unions from harassing non-union workers and prevent a "union workplace vote" from being a public vote and not anonoymous?

3. Is this the best way to build the economy by promoting exhorbitant wages for a meanial job that puts US businesses out of business because they can't compete globally?

If the automotive unions have all the answers, can't concede anymore wages or health care benefits to bring them in line with the real world, why don't the union bosses open their own factories with their own products? They could then pay their workers the wages and health benefits and pensions that they truly desire. Why are they hesitating to do this? They could make sure that everyone from the CEO to the guy who empties the trash is a union guy. Do you think they have thought of this? This way, they have no excuses about the big corporation screwing them.

Is she some sort of extreme sport athlete? Was she looking to rob me? Was I on candid camera? Please help me understand. She seemed to want to stand very close to me which made me feel uncomfortable since I didn't know what she meant.

I asked the waiter for any house specials and he winked at me and said he recommended soup - Cream of Sum Yung Gai. Is there really such a soup in a chinese restaurant? If so, what is in it?

What causes water blisters in mouths? Every once in a while, my daughter gets a water blister in her mouth that, when popped, goes away and is nothing but water. It is clear and occurs on the mouth either on the side of the mouth or inside of the lip. Never on the gums.

My lawn is thinning in places. What would do me the best in the long run? Slit seeding or aeriation?
