  • why is my FB profile picture covering my cover?

I have a business facebook page with a cover banner on it. But, the organizations logo is the profile picture, and is covering the cover page.

  • My comcast internet goes down almost everyday.?

My cable internet goes down multiple times almost every day. The only way to get it back is to reset the cable modem. I called support and they had me reset cache and check some settings.

    Everything was fine.

Does anyone else have this problem? Any ideas for fixing it? Could it be the cable modem, or wireless router?

Are there any tools I could install that would help me monitor and report on the source of the problem?

There is no rhyme or reason to it that I can determine.

    Thanks,

    Mike

  • Can't connect to the internet.?

So I am visiting my kids. They have two computers both on the same network. The downstairs runs Vista, and was full of viruses. I ran AVG and found a bunch of stuff. When it cleaned it off, the Vista system cannot connect to the internet. This one still can as you see, and is running XP. I reinstalled firefox hoping that might do it, but nope. Firefox, iTunes, IE, Flock. Nothing gets out and I get page not found sort of errors.

So, I can get to the net, but not on the newly virus free system.

Any ideas other than re-install the O/S?

    Thanks,

  • Can I make my estate the benficiary of my life insurance?

I have about $800,000 in life insurance. I am divorced and have some other assets as well. My will is set-up that my five children each get 20%, plus their mother and my mother get some cash.

Can I just make my "estate" the beneficiary of my life insurance after my death, and then those funds will just be part of all the assets to be allocated?

If so, is there any special language I need to use on the Beneficiary Designation form?

    Thank you.

  • How to finish my degree?

I have a about 100 college credits, but they are old and probably not any good now. Does anyone know of an accredited university that will take those credits, add in whatever else (life, work, and military), let me take a few classes, and let me finish quickly. I am over 50 and a senior exec and I would love to get an accredited, even honorary degree without starting from scratch.

  • I have a virus I can't rid of.?

Since yesterday, I get a fake warning message that says I have a worm.win32.sober virus. It says to "click here", which is a sign that it is fake. I have run Symantec, Spybot, Yahoo Anti-spy and it is still there, and now has shut down IE. It has not affected Firefox, which I can run without problems.

    Any suggestions?

  • Is there a SQL statement that requires user input?

I am head of IT and I used to program. I have a programmer that tells me there is no way to request input from the user when running a simple statement. For example, if I run an extract for sales, is there no way to have a user input a starting month and ending month? If so, can you give me a simple example so I can help him out?

    Thanks,

  • Resolving debts....?

I bottomed out and lost everything. My house was foreclosed on, credit cards go in arrears, I went through all of my savings, and pretty much shot my credit rating. My ex-wife did much the same thing, but she filed for bankruptcy. I didn't have to file, but I still owe a lot on credit cards that are now in collection. It might be $30k between 4 cards.

I got a collection call yesterday on my home phone. Bottom line, I haven't paid anything in years on these accounts and they have all been sold to collection agencies. I didn't call the guy back and I don't know which account it is, but I need to start taking care of this. I have wanted to, but was afraid of the burden I would be putting on myself.

I was thinking about this plan -

    - get a copy of my credit report to get an idea of what I owe and to who

    - first pay off the smaller ones that I am able (I haven't built up much savings yet, but I do have extra money)

    - contact the others and try to work something out.

    Thoughts?

  • How can I address no degree on a resume?

I am a very successful executive. I left college 25 years ago to take a job and have done extremely well, making it to the "C"/VP level. Since I didn't finish my degree, it comes up when I apply now. Is there any way to tactfully addresss it? I really can't go back and finish at this point.

  • College degree question.....?

I have more than 100 credits from three universities. They are very old...from the 70's and 80's. I am a successful executive now, but the lack of a degree has held me back lately for some really big jobs.

I am looking for the quickest, legitimate, accredited way to get a degree. Not a mill, but someone who will take all my credits, military experience, whatever, and let me finish in a year or less even.

Funny, but I would think this would be a great money maker for some small university as there are thousands of people like me.

    Thanks,

    Mike
