Can a Web page be certified (saved) in some way...?
so that the contents cannot later be deleted or changed by the owner; so that the contents can be presented as evidence in court?
1 AnswerSecurity1 decade agoWhere does law reside?
I'm asking about the laws of physics here.
It seems they can't reside in matter, because then each particle of matter could have different laws and therefore not be able to interact. And there would be no way for one particle of matter to "know" where another is to be attracted to or repelled from it.
And it seems it cannot reside in space, since (if the Big Bang theory is correct or even nearly so) the cosmic singularity did not have any space when the laws of the universe kicked in and began expanding it.
So, where do the laws of physics reside?
3 AnswersPhysics1 decade agoWhy are they making another Incredible Hulk movie (that's not a sequel) so soon after making the last?
The new Incredible Hulk movie does not appear to be a sequel to the one with Jennifer Connelly and Eric Bana (though that one was obviously left open for a sequel), made only about 5 or 6 years ago. Since both had to have the approval of Marvel, were they somehow not pleased with the last movie?

7 AnswersMovies1 decade agoIn what way are Intel manufactured motherboards deficient in features?
I've heard that Intel mobos are reliable, but I've also heard that they are "light on features." Is this just referring to OCing, or are they light on other features as well?
I'm looking for reliability mostly, I'm unlikely to OC (but may if really needed for best performance).

2 AnswersDesktops1 decade agoWhat is Barack Obama's true feelings for America and peace?
How long has Barack Obama known "his pastor and longtime spiritual advisor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright?" Could he say in all honesty and sincerity that he has never witnessed the true attitude and heart of his minister in all those years, that it is a surprise to him? Can renouncing his friendship and longtime relationship with this "minister of hate" hide Obama's true nature from the American people? Could such a minister hide, from only Barack Obama, his sermons of hate for 20 years? Was Barack Obama always only conveniently absent when Wright preached hate messages? Will he unite or divide, help or destroy, America?

2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHow does DSL really compare with Roadrunner?
The Time-Warner commercial gives DSL bad PR, of course. But what's the truth? Are video downloads really impossible? Is on-line gaming with DSL bad news? Is there someone, who has had both, that can give an answer from experience?
5 AnswersVideo & Online Games1 decade agoWhy do these TV witch's names all end in 'a'?
From the TV series, Bewitched:
Samantha, Endora, Tabitha, Clara, Serena, Esmerelda, Hagatha, etc.
From Sebrina the Teenage Witch:
Sebrina, Hilda, Zelda, etc.
In fact, I've found that there are a large number of popular witches with names that end in 'a'. From a list in the on-line encyclopedia, Wikipedia, I found nearly half the names of those witches end with 'a'.
This doesn't look like random chance. Does anyone know the reason behind it?

7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 decades agoWhen did people start calling Sunday a 'sabbath'?
I know that the Catholic Church was still referring to the Sabbath as a separate and distinct day from Sunday (what many call, 'the Lord's day') in the late fourth century. And the "Catechism of the Catholic Church" (English translation (c)1994) states:
"Sunday is expressly distinguished from the Sabbath which it follows chronologically every week."
So, Catholics. at least, do not officially believe that Sunday is a sabbath.
So, is it officially called that in any church?
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 decades agoWhy do Moslems say that Jesus Christ was ONLY a prophet and not the Son of God?
On what authority do they base that on? Since the Bible -- the only detailed source we have on Jesus -- states clearly, and multiple times, that Jesus is indeed the Son of God.
