Fellow Christians: Over the last few years several Pastors/Churches have come out in support of gay marriage and/or full inclusion of ...?
... gay members into their churches. What would your response be if your pastor/church made a similar decision; would you be relieved, disappointed, angry, enthusiastic?
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoHow can I check to see how much Anthem (Blue Cross) stock I own?
My uncles employer has purchased Anthem (Blue Cross/Blue Shield) stock for Him for many years and he would like to check and see how much he owns. How would he go about finding out so that he can sell? (No information is available from the employer)
1 AnswerInvesting1 decade agoFellow Christians: When Mormons and/or Jehovah's Witnesses come to your door, how do you respond?
Do you send them away or do you witness the Gospel of Jesus Christ to them? If you have had experiences sharing the faith with Mormons and/or Jehovah's Witnesses please share.
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoFellow Christians: What methods have you found most useful in witnessing to Muslims?
Share your stories of times when you have evangelized Muslims and shared the Gospel if Jesus Christ.
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHow should Triniterian Christians respond to the "Jesus-only" or "Oneness" heresy?
"Oneness" is clearly a heretical doctrine. Should we truly view them as fellow Christians while they reject the very nature of Jesus Christ or does their rejection of the fundamental doctrine of the Trinity place them outside the true Christian faith?
21 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoProtestants: Do you believe in the real (literal) presence of Christ in Communion?
As a pentecostal, my views on Communion tend to place me outside the accepted doctrine.
(I asked this question before but I only got three answers so I figured I'd give it another try)
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoProtestants: Do you believe in the real (literal) presence of Christ in Communion?
As a pentecostal, my views on Communion tend to place me outside the accepted doctrine.
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoChristians: What are some useful scriptures to help friends & family out of the false "Jesus-Only" doctrine?
The false "Oneness Pentecostal" beliefs are rampant in my area.
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHow should we, as Christians, deal with individuals caught up in false doctrine?
Such as Oneness Pentecostalism, JW's, Mormons, the "Gay Christian" movement and Kingdom Now movement.
25 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoChristians: How do you feel about the liberalization of the America Church?
Such as decisions within the Episcopal church to ignore scriptural prohibitions against homosexuality and ordain gays. As well as the effort of some churches to be politically correct and claim that Muslims, JW's and Mormons can go to heaven without accepting the true Christ of scripture.
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoGiven the direction the world seems to be taking it would appear the need for evangelizing is even greater....
.....than the generations before us. What are some ways that you show the Gospel to friends, family co-workers and etc in your daily life?
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy do "Oneness" Christians deny the truth of the trinity when it is shown throughout scripture?
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit"
Matthew 28:18
"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you."
John 14:16
"When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
Matthew 3:16-17
Just a few examples
(this is the second time I've posted this question. Last time it was deleted because, according to the notice it was "Not a Question or Answer." If you dont like my question then dont answer it but its really petty to have it deleted just because you dont like my views.)
2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy do muslims claim to revere Yeshua (Jesus) as a prophet when.....?
they don't believe what He said.
"Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" John 14:6
John 10:36-37 also makes it clear that Yeshua said that He was the Son of G-d
If Yeshua isnt the Son of G-d, as Muslims incorrectly claim then that would make Him a liar. So which is He: A liar or Lord? You can't have it both ways.
21 AnswersTheater & Acting1 decade agoFellow Christians: What is your view of the Pentecostal Holiness movement?
Ive already asked this questions once but I only got a few answers. Hopefully I'll get a few more perspectives.
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy do so many atheist seem to be so threatened by a belief in God?
Its not that they just dont believe in Him themselves. They are desperate to make others loose faith and berate people who do believe in God and attempt to make believers seem unintelligent.
