Twin momma as of 11/11
Greetings all! I am a lucky woman with a great husband and twin newborn daughters. Life is good.
Ack! I ate tomatoes today... even asked for extra! Should I be scared?
I'm 16 weeks pregnant, should I do anything? This is the first day in a week I didn't throw up my lunch- strange how things work out! My husband thinks I'll be fine. No one has gotten salmonella in my area, but I'm scared anyway. They pulled tomatoes off the shelves of grocery stores out of restaurants.
Has anyone ever gotten salmonella while pregnant? What happened?
4 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoSchool psychs/counselors indicated on an IEP-what would you do?
I am indicated in an IEP to meet with a student a few minutes a week to review the behavior plan and the child's progress. The child has been removed from school for 45 days and parents are refusing to accept compensatory services unless I go to the home (or non-school location like a library) as the IEP indicates. I just found out about this request, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I wonder what others think, or if anyone has had this situation before!
Thanks!
4 AnswersSpecial Education1 decade agoI think if you select a best answer to your question, you should give the winner a 'Thumbs Up'. Do you agree?
I've noticed many answers chosen by the askers that have 0 thumbs up. It just seems polite to me that if you really felt the answer was helpful, you should give the person that extra point. I know you already gave them 10 points, but what is one extra one going to hurt? Where is the Y!A love?

the witches sound, well not so great? I love Wicked and saw it in April on Broadway, and it sounded much better. What are your thoughts?
7 AnswersDrama1 decade agoMy hubby and I are planning an Office Party to celebrate the premiere of 'The Office'. What should we serve?
Are there foods featured on 'the office' that would be fun? No, we don't have a vending machine so people could buy office supplies. We want fun stuff, but can't remember anything, and thought we'd ask for help!
3 AnswersOther - Television1 decade agoRe: Galations 5:2-12. Are there groups that don't circumcise because of Paul's statements?
I'm wondering if there are any Christian sects who don't circumcise because Paul said it it cuts a man off from God's grace (no pun intended). That seems like a pretty serious statement to me, but it seems like a lot of folks ignore this. I know in Gal. 5:6, he says it doesn't matter to Christ, but in Gal. 5:11, he again says he doesn't teach this.
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat's the highest number of thumbs up/down you've seen for a question? What's the highest you've gotten?
I just saw one answer with 103 thumbs down! I think that one might hurt a little-trolls can't count for all of them.
4 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoI'm interested Co2 reduction opportunities, has anyone done this?
How do you really know that it's removing your CO2 footprint, and not just something someone tells you to make you feel better? I mean they are talking about up to 150 tons of greenhouse gas. How do they even measure that?
I've looked at Terrapass (the ones from the Oscars) http://www.terrapass.com/index.html
7 AnswersOther - Environment1 decade agoI want to recycle, but I live in an apartment- any ideas?
My complex doesn't have recycling, so I have to drive it somewhere to a school that's about 5 miles away. The problem then is that I end up with overflowing amounts of newspaper, plastic bags, etc. (it wouldn't do any good to waste gas by making several trips a week). It's very frustrating.

4 AnswersDrama1 decade agoWe are doing a stocking stuffer thing at work, so I need stuff for 27 stockings. I'd like to be unique- ideas
I'd like to stay away from candy if possible. I thought about oranges, but lugging around 27 of them all day doesn't sound like fun. What else would work? What would you like to get.
p.s. I don't know where to get lumps of coal!
15 AnswersChristmas1 decade agoIf you believe in the Great flood, why don't we talk about all being decendants of Noah?
Just curious as to what people think about this! Do you believe that that his sons represented the different ethnic races?
