So long story short, I fell for the first time for a girl, at the age of 23. I'm fairly picky and neurotic so I've always been distant, but this one broke me of those habits, and we only "kind of" dated for about 2 months. Then she told me she didn't want to go any further, she wasn't looking for that. she has this controlling, manipulative ex who she refuses to cut out of her life who i feel is holding her back. Whatever, this isnt important. the main thing is, its 4 months later, we are still like best friends but as much as i meet other women, no one holds a candle to her. i feel like no one is good enough. I just met a girl who is so amazing, smart, classy, and all those other things so rare at my college. but she isn't this other girl. Everything is so formal with this new girl, with all girls. i cant feel comfortable. its only with this other girl that i feel comfortable. help!

So I'm 21, and new to the whole drinking scene. I've tried a beer or two and nothing has really taken. but i hear that they all have a unique taste. where is a place where i can buy a varitey of beer for cheap to try it. like a gas station? do they sell individual bottles? Most places seem to only sell 6 packs or larger.

Also, whats a good beer for someone new to drinking?

I guess the issue is that when i was like 10, I ate all the foods most little kids do. but i never changed. i was never really in situations to try new things. I went to a very calm highschool, not full of drinking and drugs and all that. i'm not relgious but grew up with many friends who were. So now I'm 22, dont drink any alchol, dont eat salads, fish, forgien cusine, I could go on. now when i go out to eat or go out with a girl to a bar like enviorment. i'm looked at like i'm wierd. I've tried most of these foods and they just don't appeal to me, i seem to only like the foods i grew up on like chesseburgers, pizza, pasta, chicken, soda & juices, and things of that nature. Is there a way that over time my tastes will change so i can enjoy a more adult varitey of foods or is this just how it is with me.

long story short I met this girl last april and we instantly clicked and started hanging out all the time. im not smooth or anything so i never "put moves on her" or anything. we started seeing movies together and saw a concert. At this point I was torn, I wanted to ask her out but I was leaving in early may for 3 months. so I didnt. but the 3 months are over now and I am back. we have talked about hanging out this weekend but I dont know how to move it into "dating" we are both kinda shy college kids who have been hurt in relationships in the past but i think she likes me, maybe as much as i really like her. do i call her and say "lets turn this into a dating thing"? do i see her this saturday and tell her how i feel? do i see her this saturday and try and get closer to her than normal? we went out to dinner and a movie all the time before so its like we have been dating without dating. I am clueless when it comes to making the first move and need Help!

I'm 6'7 and only 180lbs, and cant find shirts that really fit me well. mediums fit will in the chest and side but are way too short, while a large is long enough but very baggy looking on me. any ideas?

So im moving into a new apartment and looking for a unique and cheap way to decorate the place. as a huge music fan with diverse tastse i got the idea of going on to ebay or some music store and buying some cheap retro vinyl records (12x12 kind) and framming them (the album art work, not the record). What would be the best way to go about this, are there places that allready sell this kind of stuff, and any advice in general? Cheap is important, but not tacky. it can be done im sure.

Every review i see of the Nintendo Wii I only seem to see people say how amazing it is becuase your friends can come over and have wii parties! ummm, well thats not really what im looking for. Im looking for a sytem that i can sit down at in my free time and enjoy some games and unwind. I am also a fan of games like Morrowind, GTA, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Halo. I grew up on the N64 but the only must play games are Mario 64 (which I have on my DS), and Goldeneye which will never see the light of day on the wii. I like the basic concept of the wii but dont see much game wise to draw me in, while the 360, as flawed as it may be (breaks down / Price), has a top notch game cataloge coming for solo and online play. opinions?

My Pros & Cons:

Price: Xbox will cost me 400 bucks (wouldnt waste time with core), while the Wii is only 250. Games seem much more pricey on xbox, im not super rich here. college kid.

Games: I currently play xbox and have plenty of games that I could now play on my 360... But new games cost 60 bucks!?!? wow. Wii games are fairly cheap, but the controler looks fun, but at times annoying. Knowing Nintendo, 360 will have better games in the long run. Loved Morrowind on XBOX, dieing to play Oblivion, grand theft auto 4 also.

Picture Quallity: I dont have HD Tv. just a normal Tv, so graphics dont do much for me.

System Quallity: Xbox 360 overheats often I hear, while Wii seems issue free. 360 also seems very loud. when running.

DVD: Not a big deal really but i dont like the idea that the Wii cant even play CDs...

So I just met this amazing girl, We are sitting down hanging out awhile talking and clicking. I notice there are a pair of crutches next to the table and i asked about them, she told me she has a spine disorder and essentially has been given 4 years. Shes not normally the type of girl I go for but we clicked so well we ended up spending the night together cuddling and making out and talking. I wasnt looking for a relationship and now she has mentioned how we are now a couple. she is the sweetest girl I have ever met but I just dont know what to do. The real issue is that She lives in one city and I live in another but i am here over the summer. after the summer i have to go back there and she has even asked me how cheap it is to live over there. I feel so bad for her she is so amazing and sad and I want to help but I just cant. I Will be destroyed when I tell her I just want to be friends becuase of the distance, the last thing i would ever want to do is hurt her. please please help.

I really want to ask her out but I am leaving the state for 3 months in 3 weeks and starting a relationship now and then turning it long distance could be horrible. But if i just stay friends and wait 3 months till i get back she could find a guy not knowing i was interested and then when i get back there is no hope. Should i ask her to wait or tell her how i feel? Please help, girls advice would be more beneficial. I’m a college student, we are both 21.

Let me try to summarize. I seem completely unable to bridge the gap between people I know in a class or see from time to time, to becoming people who are my friends/girlfriends. I moved to a new college back in Fall of '06 and now I am friends with as many people now as I was the day I got here. Most people I have met don’t have the same interests as I do and just focus their free time on drinking, clubbing or other events that I’m not a part of. I don’t want to INVITE myself into their groups, and they really aren’t the type of people I want to hang out with. But there are some people I would like to get to know better but don’t know how to approach that. I feel like asking them to hang out or go on a date would be totally blindsiding them, and they already have friends and a life. I know some people will say "Just get over it and do something" but its not that easy. Its like I’ve got a psychological block on taking that next step. And I will assure you that I’m a normal guy, not creepy or weird so that people wouldn’t want to hang out

Whats a good drink or two from Jamba Juice that I can drink without getting my mouth full of seeds. best to get could be a drink or a modified drink. Do Rasberrys, blueberrys, Strawberrys all have seeds in the jamba juice?

I got my first Jamba Juice today and it wasnt that bad. but the one thing I didnt like were all the hard little bits in it. I know it may sound like a dumb question but these are from the strawberrys right? I got the Berry Lime. could these come from the Rassberrys also? Next time I want to get it without the hard bits, if I have to remove stuff I will.

The Dentist recently told me that I will have to go in for a Deep Root Cleaning in the Summer and I am not looking forward to it. I have a wierd syndrome with my teeth where in the back they havent fully erupted at the age of 21 so its not good. I have a total Needle phobia and heard this 2 hour operation is not Fun. Im not asking if it is or isnt fun, im wondering if there is any way a dentist could fully knock you out and put you in a sleep like state before they do it? like when you (or I) get your wisdom teeth pulled. Its 6 months away and im allready getting myslef all worked up and nervous about it. Had to get a shot in the mouth a day ago and it was so bad it pretty much shot me a foot in the air. Help.

How Heat Sensitive are tickets to concerts really? I had a concert ticket that I realized had left on my laptop computer for about 5-8 minutes, and then I realized it was there, picked it up and it was warm (not super hot). It should be fine, right?
