  • Shot in the dark?

I don't know if this commercial airs in the US or not, but I'm in Romania at the moment and Comedy Central has a commercial for "Family Guy" where Stewie is blowing a dog whistle.  Brian winces, and Stewie doesn't get it at first.  It then flashes a "Dans Pauza" (Dance Break) and shows what appears to be a 2 or 3 second clip of a movie or TV show of people dancing.  I would LOVE to know where that 2 or 3 second clip comes from.  The one lady on the left almost looks like an Islander (Hawaii??). (This repeats a second time--then Stewie figures out it is a dog whistle.  Can anybody identify where those "dance break" clips come from? (As near as I can ascertain, they do not actually show up in the real episode of Family Guy--Comedy Central cleverly inserted them in this commercial.  They may even tell me the name of the show, but I don't speak the language well enough to be able to glean it from the commercial.)

  • Cannot find a movie.?

I'm 54, and as a kid of maybe 6 or 7 I was watching a really groovy Bigfoot movie. When my parents realized what I was watching they were upset and made me go to bed without finishing it. Ever since that time I have wanted to see this movie. I have looked high and low, and asked Yahoo several times to no avail. Plot: Small aircraft has problems and starts to crash in wilderness. In descent it manages to hit a family of BigFoot standing on a hill and kills the baby BigFoot. The Parent BigFoot creatures then go looking for this plane and start to hunt the humans. I remember they found their way into a cabin or home or something...that's when I was interrupted by my parents. I would love to finish this movie.... can anybody help me identify this movie?

  • I can't figure out what this song is... and Google is EXACTLY ZERO help?

The "new school" song "I've got sunshine in my pocket" is a direct rip off of an older song. The beat is slower, and toward the end before the rapper comes in, the tone drops, whereas the song I am familiar with the tone goes up and then the beat repeats. I have no idea if the words are the same, but with exactly ZERO hits on Google for anything other than that song, I think the words are probably different. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

  • Can NOT remember a movie for the life of me:?

This is NOT "Home Alone" This movie was waaaaaaaaay before then. It was done in the 1970 s or early 1980s, but well before 1982. (I want to say that I was watching it sometime between 73 and 75.) It was about a boy who had a toy car, and some spies put a chip in it and wanted it back. They actually nabbed his car to put the chip in it, then gave it back to him when he wasn t looking. This was not a switch-a-roo as in "Home alone" where they accidentally switched bags. This young man was on the run, but wasn t fighting back, like Home Alone. He was more of hiding and running. He found a girl to help him after he got separated from his parents who would not believe him. That is about all that I do remember about this movie--and it is driving me nuts.

  • Animated (NON-ANIME) US based movie about a rebellious boy, his father's time machine and his sister.?

I saw a movie that I don't remember too much about but would love to see again. This rebellious boy keeps getting into trouble. He messes around with a time machine that his father is working on which doesn't work--except this time it did. It sent him into the past. He was in Arizona and lived near "Dinosaur rock" named after a rock that looked like a Dinosaur. Think he had a baseball mitt with him, or something. There had been a mysterious inscription or writing on the rock--which was explained in the movie that he actually made that inscription while he was in the past so his Mom would find it and know he was ok. Can NOT think of the name of this movie to save my life, and Google isn't helping much (actually NONE at all).

  • I am looking for the name of a movie that I saw when I was a kid in the 70's, maybe the late 60's. See details please.?

A plane crashed in the middle of nowhere, and at night. On the way down it hit a baby Bigfoot and killed it. The survivors of the wreck found an abandoned cabin, and were tormented by the Bigfoot clan for some time. I would like to find that movie again, but have NO IDEA of the name. I am sure it was in the 70s or late 60s. NO later than 82 for sure. Certain I was younger, so probably closer to 72. Yeah, I tried google, found a lot of close things, but nothing to match. It was on TV, could have been 'TV only' release. Please tell me I am not losing my mind. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

  • Black screen on youtube videos?

I'd say about 80% now of the youtube videos I try to play are black screen. They load, I can hear them, but I cannot pause, play, mute, rewind, stop, or see the video. It started off with only a few so I figured they were just "dead links" or corrupted files, but keeps increasing. I'm running Win7 64 bit, IE9, and AVG for the AV/Firewall. I've cleared my brower's settings several dozen times, rebooted, updated, turned my firewall off, and even killed popup blockers and AV to no avail. I've googled, and it seems this problem is common to Firefox, Chrome, and the Apple Browser as well, but it seems nobody out there has any good solutions yet. The help seems to want you to try all of the above... which is exactly what I would say, if I hadn't tried it already... any other suggestions?

  • How does a print server work?

I want more than just a single paragraph of the OBVIOUS "It enables multiple computers to print to a printer or group of printers". I want to know what happens from the time I pull up the interface, to the time I click on a printer. (What protocols are set into motion in what order). Let's say, too, that this device downloads the printer's drivers to your PC. I want to know how ALL of this takes place... please answer or point me in the right direction? I want to know what logs are generated and where, so I can troubleshoot an issue more effectively.

    thanks.

  • What was that 60's or possibly VERY EARLY 70's song?

It had NO lyrics whatsoever, and sounded like tongue clicking tick tocking the whole time. I don't even think it had any instruments to be honest with you, but it was on the radio a LOT when I was a tyke.

  • Why does IE9 keep hanging up?

DO NOT SUGGEST ANY "3 STEP FIXES" OR REGISTRY EDITS. THESE ARE NOT VALID ANSWERS: "(website) is not responding recover x" I'm sick and tired of seeing that error message. If your repsonse is going to be, "use a different browser" or, "use a registry cleaner", please do NOT respond. I have similar hang up issues with firefox, chrome, and sleipnir. Using reg cleaners didn't help, if anything, they made them worse. Yes, the very FIRST thing I tried was to delete IE's cookies and cache. I'm using Win7, and please, no suggestions like sending me to a MAC or Linux OS. Windows and IE should be able to work together properly, if you don't know the answer, please allow someone who does to answer.

Update: I've troubleshot this down to IE9's add-on shell. When running IE9 in the "no add-on's" mode, the problem is resolved--sort of (still a little sluggish, but no error coming up, and it does run). Now one would think, disable all add-on's, right? So, I run IE9 in the normal mode and disable every single add-on, and the problem of locking up and throwing error codes is still there.

Again, PLEASE NO 3 STEP REG EDIT solutions. They make the issues WORSE, and can crash the system. This problem is back, and with a worse than ever before, even affecting IE9 in "no add-on's" mode. I've uninstalled and re-installed Java and that did not seem to help any.
