Shockwave problem - I get choppy graphics or skipping. Any ideas?
I am running XP Pro, and my computer is as clean as possible (to my knowledge). I have defragged, my video card drivers are recent/updated and my cache is clear. I have the most up-to-date version of Shockwave, yet I still get plagued with skipping/choppy graphics when playing either Tank Ball 1 or 2 (maidmarion.com). I have asked other people in game if they are experiencing any problems similar to mine and it appears as if I am the only one, leading me to believe that it is something I am doing here and not an issue for the developer (bug). I am just not sure where to start. I am no tech guru, and I know you all are out there, so if you have any thoughts on how to remedy this, they would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
1 AnswerSoftware1 decade agoYellow sticker on bathroom fixtures?
I know it may seem like an odd question, but I am not necessarily in the know about these things. Hubby and I are in the market to upgrade from our starter home. Upon searching and being directed to realty sites that have pictures to browse, I have noticed (in a couple of listings) that there were stickers on the bathroom fixtures. What do these yellow stickers mean? Are they from an inspection or something entirely different? I will attempt to attach an example pic to help with my question. Thank you in advance.
7 AnswersOther - Home & Garden1 decade agoIs VIN etching truly an effective deterrent for car thieves?
I recently purchased my dream car, and now am wondering about other aspects of security. I am outfitted with the typical alarm, but I am thinking outside that form of security.
For those of you who are not familiar, VIN etching this is a process where you chemically etch the VIN number of your car into each pane of glass on the car.
I'm sure it would deter the casual thief, but wouldn't it make it easier for the professional to copy your VIN number? I have heard that duplicate papers can be easily made from just the number, so should I take the opposite road and cover the VIN completely and work that angle?
I know that on most of the expensive body parts on my car, the VIN number is already etched right into the metal from the factory, so that makes it more difficult to sell these parts once they've been stolen.
Which method do you feel is more effective, or none at all? Please give an explanation with your answer, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

Does anyone happen to know of any sites that have a decent selection of theme downloads that are compatible with the latest version of Firefox?
Firefox itself doesn't have that many options to choose from, and I am just looking for something a little more intense than what I have now/that they have to offer. Any help or a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I bought a male betta fish yesterday, and was wondering what a good name for him would be. He has burgundy fins (fans) and his body is multicolored. I have no idea where to start. I have him in a tank that has river rocks and bamboo (added that in case anyone wants to wordplay). I was just looking for some good suggestions. Thanks, I appreciate it!
18 AnswersFish2 decades agoDoes anyone have any info on how to beat the "Redman Gone Wild" minigame where you escape to Manhattan?
I'm stuck here, and like an idiot, I had to save my game at this point to leave the house. Now it's either beat this part, or start all over from the beginning. HELP! Oh, btw, I'm playing it on PS2 (if that helps).
1 AnswerGames & Gear2 decades agoHow do you keep your tablecloth clean?
My DH (God love him) is a slightly messy eater, and gets things on the tablecloth and place mats no matter what. I have to wash/change them like 3x a week. I don't want to go bare table, nor do I want to do the vinyl tablecloth (or placemat) thing, because they have a tendency to look cheap. I have also tried Scotchguarding them. *sigh* Anyone have any ideas? Serious answers, please.

My hair is very long and also color treated. The salon products I buy are rather expensive, (nickel and diming me to death)and I really should be saving that money for more constructive things, lol. Any help would be appreciated. ty
