  • Can a Blackberry sync with my computer?

I currently have a Palm Centro and I use it to keep up with my life. Calender, addresses, notes, etc. I was wanting something larger and have been looking at the Blackberry. I would want it to be my phone but also my PDA. Does the blackberry sync to a computer so I may view my calendar and addresses on my PC?

  • My birdhouse needs repairing, but when is a good time?

Let me start out by saying, I know nothing about birds, except that I adore looking at and listening to them. My husband built a cute birdhouse with 4 "apartments". Every year, each spring, I sit at my computer and watch them out my bedroom window. Tiny brown birds that sing. I tease my husband that they are carrying signs picketing the 'landlord' on unsafe living conditions. So here's my questions.

When would be a good time to take the house down and repair loose boards and exposed nail heads? I know it would be after little babies leave, I'm sure, but the birds are so small I cannot tell if they are grown or not. I live in Western North Carolina, if that helps.

    Thanks

  • What is a "Regional Code" for a DVD?

My daughter bought a DVD in England. When we put it into our DVD player in the USA, a warning comes up and says to check regional code. Is that the same as the country code setting on the DVD? and if so, what should we change it to? Or is she out the money and count it a lesson learned?

    Thank you

  • Can I re-silver a mirror?

Is there any product out there that I can buy to *paint* on the back of my mirror to fix the areas that are not reflective anymore. There are gray areas creaping in from the corners and sides.

  • Pop ups - How do you identify?

My darling daughter went to a website that dumped a ton of junk onto my laptop from work I had home for the day. My anti virus and spy ware caught most of it, but there is still something lurking. I'm getting pop ups all of the time. Nothing offensive, just annoying. How can I identify the program lurking to delete it? Is it in my registry? Any ideas, short of reformatting my hard drive?

  • What music would you use for a PowerPoint presentation?

I'm helping my dear husband put together a powerpoint presentation. The subject of the presentation is Trucking, specifically, the safety and recruiting aspects. What music would you suggest? I'm trying to avoid *traditional trucking* music. Just something suddle running in the background.

  • Should I be concerned that my *air bag* light is on?

On my cars information panel, the light *air bag* is on. It is a old car with over 250k miles. Is it important, or is it just a loose wire or something minor like that? Any ideas?

  • What is the best product to cover dark paint?

My daughter is ready for a change in her bedroom, and the present paint is dark. The ceiling is dark blue, the walls alternate between green and yellow and the trim is dark red. (I know. Yuck) Anyway, she's wanting a change and I'm sure that we will have to do several coats of some sort of primer. Any suggestions to what product would provide us with the least number of coats?

  • Where does "Mayday - Mayday - Mayday" come from?

When a plane is in trouble, the pilot says, "Mayday, Mayday, Mayday". (at least on TV).

Does anyone know where it comes from?

  • Pistachio Nuts from Iran or Turkey?

When I was young, and that was a long time ago, I use to be able to buy pistachio nuts from the Iran/Turkey/Iraq area. Surely there is a place to buy those wonderful nuts again without breaking any embargo laws. California Pistachios just have no flavor.

  • Could there be a West Wing sequel, like the Star Treks?

I know I'm grabbing at straws, but does anyone think that there might be a sequel to West Wing like they did with the Star Treks? I just cannot believe that they are ending that show with so many viewers. With the new administration, there are tons of stores left to do.

  • What color is cat urine?

My 2 year old, female 'fixed' cat, has just started 'going' outside of her litter box. I've read some posts about suggesting that it be a urinary track infection, but my question is, "What color is their urine suppose to be?" Because her "outside the litter box urine" has a pink/red tint to it. Any suggestions? I do plan on calling the vet tomorrow.

  • American Flag on cars, etc?

In my area of the country, North Carolina, I see a lot of cars with American flags on them. Also, around the country, I see American flags flying from peoples homes. I've been wondering, in other countries, do they display their flags in such ways too?
