I smashed my fourth finger, the distal phalanx, between a 150 lb. sewer grate and a concrete curb. There's no visible blood welled up under the nail, and it is not drastically dark, but the DIP joint is swollen and stiff, and the ball of the finger is swollen, sensitive, and purple. I've heard that to relieve pressure, the nail can be punctured to release the blood, but the blood seems to be in the fingertip and not the nail. Should I go to urgent care, or will this heal on its own>

I live in the USA and want to use henna for tattoos, but I don't know where to find it. I don't want to buy online, and I can't find an indian/middle eastern grocery store in my area. Would they possibly have it at a beauty supply store, pharmacy, or supermarket?
