I got a degree in Civil Engineering and I don't want to commit to the corporate life yet. I want to travel around the world, learn new skills, and meet new people. And I think the Navy is a great place for me to start.

We have a female Shih-Tzu. She's 7 years old this year. She's having heat twice a year. And she's having one right now.

I am just wondering how much faster a i7 can run than a T6400 (core 2 duo) processor, assuming everything else )(RAM, graphic card, etc) are the same. I'm looking for examples, such as how much faster (in seconds/minutes) does opening 10 different programs at once in i7 than in T6400.

If you have a chart comparing the 2's performance examples (not specs), that would be great also.

I'm watching the Winter Olympic 2010. As of now, they are introducing the countries. When each country come out, the lower left corner of the TV shows where the country is on the world map.

Why do they show USA map first (as the reference) before showing that country's spot on the world map? Why not Canada?

I was using my computer without any problem until I plugged my USB, which I used last at my school's public computer. My computer immediately got infected with a lot of viruses. I couldn't open up anything, even my AVG Virus Scan, CCleaner, or any files. I figured all those viruses came from the school's public computer.

I ran my computer on Safe Mode with Networking and used "System Restore" at the last checkpoint of 3 hours ago.

Now my computer is running smoothly without any pop-up, warning, all browsers work okay.

My question is: is my computer completely free of those viruses? I don't get how all the files I was working are still here but all the viruses seem to be disappeared.

Even though I am using the latest Firefox version (3.5.5), everytime I try to download Google Toolbar for Firefox, it says I need Firefox 2.0 or later and then leads me to the Firefox download page

Does anyone have the same problem?

Because Walmart's going to sell a Wii Console for $150 (after $50 gift card) starting this Sat, I'm planning to get one for myself and the family members. Let's say the water coming in my house has a pressure of 2 psi. Is that too low for my household uses such as washing dishes and flushing toilet?

My car is a Honda Acccord but the registration says Honda CRV. I got pulled over and was told by the cop to get it changed by going to the DMV.

I went to the DMV and was told to call my bank to send the title over to them because I am still financing the car and so I don't have the title yet.

After the bank sent the title to the DMV, I came back to the DMV to get the title changed back to Honda Accord instead of Honda CRV

When it was done, I was told to pay $60, which I didn't know I even have to pay for it. After all, I had to pay for idiot's typing mistake

1. Do you even have to pay for a change like that because it is ridiculous? If somebody thinks it is unfair and I shouldn't have paid for it, I think so too and I should have asked for the supervisor but I didn't want to make a big scene

2. If you were in my situation, how would try to get the $60 back?
