  • Is yahoo going to play this stupid advertisement every time I open a page?

Every time I open a page in Yahoo! Answers I get an advertisement for some yogurt. I know that this place is ad-supported and that's fine, but this one has audio as well. It's annoying as hell.

If I'm going to have to listen to it every time I do something here, I'm going to stop visiting this place.

  • Which specific Bible predictions are coming true?

I keep hearing Christians say that the Bible is true because it accurately predicts events that are happening now or in recent history. Can anyone give me SPECIFIC examples?

  • What is the maximum ASVAB score?

I was looking at minimum ASVAB scores for various MOS's and I noticed that some of the MOS's require scores of 100 or above in the respective categories. I was under the impression that you can't score higher than a 99 on any single ASVAB test category.

For instance, I know that "Combat" is scored according to how well you do in several different test categories in the ASVAB (Arithmetic Reasoning, Coding Speed, AS and Mechanical Comprehension), do they simply add up your scores from those sections? I'm looking to join MOS 19 Kilo (M1 Abrams crew member) and I know that I need to score a 90 or higher in Combat to be eligible for that job.

Or am I confusing the ASVAB and the AFQT?

  • Enlisting in the Army with an Associate's Degree?

I'm pretty sure that I want to join the Army with MOS 19K. I am going to go talk to a recruiter tomorrow, and I'd like to be as informed as possible. I believe that my degree would automatically start me off as an E-3 (after I complete boot camp of course). I have a total of 80-90 college credits and a high school diploma. I have heard that I would be eligible for E-4, but I am guessing that particular rank is not an guaranteed thing?

Assuming I am correct so far, would the E-4 rank be Corporal? From what I understand, to be a Specialist you must have two years experience in the Army.

I've been reading other questions on Yahoo! Answers, but haven't found quite what I am looking for. I've been looking through the Army's website, but it is not all that informative.

  • Why do some people call us "so-called" atheists?

I'm an agnostic atheist, plain and simple. Are you guys still having a tough time understanding the terminology?

I honestly don't get it. You don't see us going around calling people so-called Christians, so-called Jews or so-called Muslims.

  • Atheists, if Heaven and Hell exist...?

Would you rather spend eternity burning in Hell, or in Heaven with a bunch of Bible-thumpers?
