2001 Dakota removing lower ball joints.?
I have a 2001 Dakota and I'm trying to remove the lower ball joints. I have the steering knuckle removed and have clear access to them. From what I can see you need to press down on them to remove them? I tried several different thing today including using a ball joint press and these things just won't budge. Does anyone have any tips or tricks that I can use to get these things off? I'm seriously thinking about taking a drill and drilling holes through the old ball joints until I can pound them out. Or maybe using a torch and ball joint press together? I'm wide open to ideals?
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs6 years agoRemoving gas hot water heater.?
I need to remove a gas hot water heater in order to replace the old flooring underneath it. After turning off the gas is it OK to immediately start draining the tank or should I wait a little while in order for the heating elements as well as the water itself to cool down? Thanks

Have any of you ever had this procedure done? And if I may ask, why did you have it done? I'm schedule to have one but I'm not totally convinced that I even need one. I'll try to keep this short... I went to a new primary care doctor (actually she's a Nurse practitioner) a few months ago and during the routine examination she noticed that my blood pressure was high (160/92) and she put me on lisinopril hctz and I started taking it. A week later she brought me back in for a follow up appointment and she asked about side effects of the medication. A few days after starting the medication, One evening I had a mild chest tightness for about 20 mins and told her this. She told me, that I need to go see a cardiologist about this and I did. The cardiologist did another EKG and said that the results were basically the same as the one that my new PC doctor did. But he felt that I should get a stress test just to be the safe side about it.
I went and got the stress test done. I felt that I did alright and the only thing after 7.50 minutes on the tread mill was that I was breathing heavily. I'm a smoker but I'm in decent shape and my weight is pretty good ( 6'2"-225lbs.) I talked to the doctor who preform the stress test and he only talk about my heavy breathing after the test. A few days later I received a call from his office about starting the paper work to get a cardiac catheterization done.Honestly, I don't have any type of chest pains, discomfort or tightness.
2 AnswersHeart Diseases7 years agoThe name of a 80's song?
I've been trying to remember the name of an 80's song. I can only remember bits and parts of the lyrics. I went something like this
"Some where in the city she lost her, there ain't no union, union, union, no guarantees. Everybody I know is looking after me".
That might not be the exact lyrics but it was real close to that if not.
any help is appreciated.
2 AnswersLyrics7 years agoUpgrading computer W/ windows7?
I've been thinking about upgrading my computers motherboard & processor and installing a ssd drive. My current rig I built back in 2010 and installed a OEM (system builders) version of windows 7 professional. If i do this, will I be able to reinstall windows and activate it using the same activation number (product key) or will I have to buy a new key?
Thanks

Kay and myself have been friends for a very long time, about 8 years. In that time, I have come to care for her more than I can say.(we're both in our 30's) We just had lunch and then she came back to my place to hang out for a little while. We talk for a little while and I basically told her how I feel about her. Then we got quiet for a minute but I just couldn't "seal the deal" to say I was nervous would be an understatement. I feel like I just blew one of the best opportunities of my life.
Somebody just shot me now and end my anguish. Seriously, I feel like I just let her slip right through my fingers.

Will it be possible to do a full install ( clean install) of windows 7 using only a upgrade disk?
I know with XP could do a full install using the upgrade disk if you had a previous qualifying media. Will the same apply to windows 7?
2 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoGood beginners dirt bike-Kid?
I'm trying to help a friend out. His kid wants a dirt bike and with the holidays coming up he has started looking into it. His son is 10 y.o. and is about 5 ft. tall around 100lbs. (I'm sure about the age but the height and weight is my best guess) His father was talking about a PW80 but I was thinking that might be a little to small but I also think that a 125cc might be to much. he doesn't have any experience riding a motorized bike up until now he's just had a bicycle. I was thinking maybe a XR 100 or TT-R 90 or something like that. He's looking for a good used one. Just looking for suggestion on a good starter bike for a kid.
Thanks

I've been working for the same company for 10 years now. About a year ago the company hired a new secretary. (we'll call her Gail. Of course, that's not her real name) At first I really didn't pay to much attention to her. She was just the "new girl on the other side of the building". About 3 months after she started I met her. It wasn't anything special I just had to make a delivery to someone in her department but since that person wasn't in his office I left the package with her. She was very nice and rather personable. For the next month I really didn't think to much about her. While walking into the lunch room one day I notice that she was sitting by herself and I decide to sit a few seats away from her. We started talking and before I knew it, we had talked through our entire 1 hour lunch break. Needless to say, we had hit it off pretty good.
Over the course of the next few months I would occasionally take a "detour" so that I could spend a little time with her and would try to line up my lunch breaks so that we would have lunch at the same time.
I found myself quite "captivated" by her.
One day while passing by her desk I noticed that she was rubbing her shoulder. I asked her, if she was alright and she told me that she had taken a little spill on a wet floor. I walked up behind her and started massaging her shoulders. She seem to be really enjoying it so I kept at it for several minutes. After I finally stopped she said, "you're hired".lol
But since that time whenever I see her, I have the desire to physical touch her. Whether it's a gentle rub on the back or just simply touching her arm I just can't pass by her with out touching her. I honestly believe that she is enjoying this as much as I do.
About 2 weeks ago her and I were the last ones in the office area that she works in. I was helping her put on her coat. After she had slipped her arms into the sleeves she spun around and there we were...6 inches apart with our eyes lock onto each other. My heart was thumping so hard I thought that it was going smash right through my rib cage. It pretty much took everything that I have not to "take her" right on the spot. It would be safe to say that we have developed feelings for each other but
as of to date we have not slept together or even kissed.
You see, Gail is married. For about 8 years now and has 2 children. From what I can figure out her and her husband seem to be getting along just fine. That's to say, they have no real conflicts that I can see. She never says any thing negative about him.
One part of me wants to hold onto her and never let go. But I also have this "little voice" in the back of my heading screaming that I should really put some distance between us because this isn't the right thing to be doing.
FWIW I'm 38 and she is 33.
Constructive opinions only-Please.
5 AnswersOther - Family & Relationships1 decade agoGum problems?
About a week ago I was having a serious problem with a tooth (bottom left hand side- second from the back) I went to see a dentist and he said, that I needed a root canal done on that tooth and he also gave me a prescription for antibiotics which have helped immensely (the gum line beneath this tooth was very tender and swollen). The tooth itself really isn't brothering me any more but I now have a small bump in the gums beneath this tooth. Its not really bothering me but is it any thing to be concerned about?
