Ex husband has left me in debt for over 30,000.00. It took me to purpsosely build up my credit to purchase a home with him. He is not financially responsible. Can I refuse to sign? He is ignoring my requests to refinance the home in his name because he knows he cannot get the house that way due to him not having any/bad credit. What happens if I refuse to sign? Also, what sort of financial history does the lender (bank) want from him for this quit claim deed if any?

Last year I purchased these flowers at Home Depot. I saved the tag so I would not forget what the name was, however, can't remember where I placed the tag! (Go figure right?)

I purchased an antique headboard and footboard. There is a single hook to hold what would hold a mattress without a box spring....doe's anyone know what that piece is called and where I can find one?

We have been trying to purchase a home in Texas through Patriot Bank since the end of January. It is now almost the end of March. We have given them everything they have asked for ( we are sole propietership of our business so full doc).

We were pre-approved for 153,000 and are trying to buy a home for 147,000.

WHY are they taking so freaking long? We have been told twice now we are closing on friday (several friday's ago).

Whats the hold up????

P.S. Our business is not going anywhere....first year the business made 89,000.00, second year (which most companies fail in) we did 143,000.00 in business.

Okay, so we've made it thus far. We have full doc, morgage co secured, proving income before it goes to underwriter. Last night we thought we'd go look at things we need, ie, refrigerator, washer/dryer. Inquiry was made on our credit. So, with that being done, how bad will that affect us? Should we just go ahead and purchase (payments wont begin until after we know our day of move in).

Question is, are we screwed now because we had an inquiry, do the underwriters check our credit score again and if so, should we call Conns to have them hold the inquiry (if there is such thing?)

My husbands friend is an addict. She has small children in her very disfunctional atmospheric home. I am looking for links to known studies where cocaine has affected children. All I can find is preterm birth info.

I want to at least alert those closest to her because she has already fainted and quit breathing once and caused a car accident another time.

Is it possible for a child to breath in or ingest cocaine particles, ie, found all throughout the home? What happens when she wipes her nose and then cuts an apple for them?

I am almost certain they are being exposed, just need scientific data.

three days ago, i was opening a large jar of pickles for my 16 year old...i tried several times by holding in the crook of my arm on the left side, pressing it between my body and arm.

hubby has been fighting a "linear" rash (looks like cuts) on penis for two weeks. it had almost cleared up with antibacterial salve, then appeared again. yesterday he was fine and the next second he was ill. low grade (100) temp and said his kidneys hurt. I am puzzled as to what it could be.

it started a day after he used powder (it was very hot outside).

could the antibacterial salve caused an upset in his kidneys?

he says it does not hurt when he urinates. he is also not circumsized.

Son would like to play baseball, coach says his hair has to be cut in order to play. No one I've talked to as of yet has given me one good reason as to why. Another parent of a son who also has long hair is also raising the issue. Girls play sports and most have long hair, I smell discrimination! Any thoughts?
