I am moving to Omaha NE in a couple of weeks from CA and I have a couple of questions.

1. Will I have to change my permanant address to NE if I come home for the summers? I want to be able to vote while I am gone, and I don't want to be getting jury duty summons for CA when I live in NE

2. I've heard there's lots of crime in Omaha. Is this true?

3. What is the average cost of living/ minimum wage for the state of Nebraska?

I need to get a student loan. I have already gotten all the Federal Aid I qualify for. I am wondering if there are any loans that go directly to the student instead of to the school, as I need to take out more than just tuition. Is this possible?

My grandmother was adopted in CA back in the 40's when EVERYTHING was locked. in the 70's a law was passed that adoptees could unlock their records to find their parents but even after being on the phone with Sacramento for hours, no one seems to know how to do this. Any help would be good.

I need to know how to make my pictures into HTML format. I know that I can download my pics onto Flickr, and drag and drop them into my 360 blog, but that doesn't work for my myspace. Is the Stafford loan the only student loan available out there? I need to get a loan for school, but I only qualify for $3000 through the Stafford loan, but everywhere I turn around all I see is 'Apply for the Stafford' I'm getting really frustrated so any help would be nice. I have already filled out the FAFSA, and I don't qualify for any other Federal Financial Aid, so please don't tell me to fill out the FAFSA. Thanks a bunch

Why is there no place on the FAFSA for a person to say that their family is NOT helping them finacially? I don't qualify for the Pell Grant because my EFC is too high, but my parents don't give me a penny for my education! Is there any way to change this? Did I miss something when I filled it out?

Ok, because teachers are evil, my Sociology teacher assigned a paper over Spring break. I need your help. If you could please send me 10-12 words that you think relate to 'aging' or 'old' you will be my next best friend (after the 15 people I have already promised die.) So for example, you might think that 70 is 'old' so that would be one of your words (or phrases) Please give your answers in list form. I have to get 14+ people this next week. If you do choose to participate, please include your Age, Gender, Location, and Ethnicity as these are all part of the assignment. If you don't include them I have to guess. Thanks everyone
