I don't believe this is a confusion with the 49ers of mining/california fame. referenced in several cartoons and video games.

I have a Polaroid TDA-02610C (26" w/ dvd player) that i sent in for warranty work at proview. they stole all my accessories..which is another long story. but now i am looking for a replacement stand (i do not want a wall mount) and a power cable.

I am a national guard soldier who is transfering to the IRR after serving the better part of three years on title 10 orders (active duty).

Previously a Selected Reserve Soldier would lose all education benefits once he has separated from the Reserve (gone to IRR status). but that has changed for some soldiers

The GI bill website states "even if you leave the reserves after mobilization, you may have additional eligibility to the MGIB-SR" I asked the VA about this and the only answer i was returned was a bunch of legalese junk that contradicted itself.

Basically the MGIB changed in january 08. Does anyone understand the requirements for eligibility once you separate from the Guard? It exists, so don't say it doesn't, i gave you a quote from the GI bill website...but no one knows, and no one at the VA cares.

I was off-roading with some friends and had some body damage in two places. i can get to the inside, and just want to "press" out the body panel to more or less like they were. then touch up, clean up, clear coat etc...i know it wont' look like before, but oh well.

my question is...what tool should i use? a rubber mallet on the inside? i don't think a regular metal hammer is a good idea, seems like it might damage the panels even more.

i don't need any of the abxy buttons, just play/stop/ffw etc controls

When i'm watching a movie, i'd really like it if it doesn't say "friend123 is online" during the middle of it...and i don't want to unplug my ethernet cord every time i watch a movie. there's gotta be some setting, and i just haven't seen it yet.

we bought a all-in one HP printer, and it all works now. we have a wireless network, through i believe a linksys b/g router/switch. how do you get the printer to ..um...announce itself on the network?
