C'mon people! Don't do that!
6 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoWhat does "down to earth" MEAN anyway?
I find so many people that use it to describe themselves and I have no idea what quality it is that they are actually trying to accentuate.
14 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoHow do I get rid of the white spots caused by water on wood?
I don't actually know that this is what it is. I had someone house sitting for me and when I came back there were these little white spots on the coffee table and a small semi circle. How do I get rid of them?
68 AnswersCleaning & Laundry1 decade agoHow long does it take the average person to walk a mile?
I am moving to an apartment 1.5 miles from my work and planning to walk to work (better for health and save $$$ on parking downtown) but I am not sure how much time to give myself.
11 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoCaffine and fat burning. Who knew?
I just read in my Nutrition text book that over using caffeine is illegal in competitive endurance sports because of the advantage it gives you by releasing fat into your blood stream for fuel. Most endurance athletes "hit the wall" when their muscular glycogen levels are exhausted, but if you drink ~6 cups off coffee before hand, the caffeine converts that fat to a usable energy source. Something to think about if you do any exercise for over 60 minutes in an attempt to lose body fat.
1 AnswerDiet & Fitness1 decade agoWhy are people compelled to over-simplify complex human emotions?
I just answered a questions that read "Is love really just the absences of hate?" And I am curious why would anyone think that hate is a more primary emotion than love. In other words, why would you think that hate isn't the absence of love. And while I'm at it, why is love the only emotion that ever comes into doubt? No one says "Does jealousy exist?" No one says "Does irritation exist?" and I will tell you irritation does every time I read one of these questions about the existance of love.
