I'm working on a vignette about a person who satisfies the criteria for Schizophrenia.

However, I need to assign the subtype. My choices so far are Paranoid Type or Disorganized Type.

This is my dilemma:

The person is having severe hallucinations (all on a religious theme).

The woman is hospitalized after found in a combative, delusional, irrational and agitated condition. She escaped through her window in the middle of the night taking along her little toddler girl going to what she thinks is the second coming of Christ.

The vignette mentions in her current episode, her speech is disorganized and her behavior is chaotic. In her previous episode, a bit over 6 months ago, she had "shrieks and screams" and her husband reported her to have jumbled language.

According to this, I would go with the Disorganized type, but this type does not specify her delusions to have a specific theme.

However, the Paranoid type requires a theme, but no serious slurring, or chaotic behavior.

Any suggestions on which one to select?

I'm on my 1st semester on the MFT program and I'm loving it. I know I was born to do this job.

However, I've been hearing from several people how opportunities in SoCal are very limited and the pay is very low. I'm 37 and although I'm brave and adventurous I would hate to invest all the time and money needed for this career for nothing. Any advice out there? Thank you.

El Castellano es una de las lenguas más ricas y exquisitas en el mundo. Escuchar a alguien conversar en buen uso del idioma es una delicia. Llevo muchos años viviendo en Estados Unidos y veo que la identidad del idioma se pierde rápidamente.

Cuál es la motivación para este cambio? Por qué infectar un idioma tan bello con extranjerismos? Alguien me lo explica?

If you go off without the meds. (under supervision of a doctor, of course), will you stay stable? or will you go back into depression?

I've taken the pills for a bit over a year now, and I feel very stable and happy. Like a normal person.

I've considered getting off the medication, but I'm afraid of going back to the "dark" times.

Anyone has dealt with this? what was your experience?

Oh... I don't want to hear about Acai berry, or to read more on Celexa. I promise you, I've done my research and Acai gives me allergies.

I want a real story on how you dealt with a similar situation.

I've been taking Celexa for about a year now. I like the effect of the pill and I don't want to stop taking it. However, I've gained 20lbs (without eating more than I used to) and I'm having a difficulty dropping it off.

I workout for 45mins 5 times a week and I eat healthy.

Vivo en USA y voy a viajar a Valenica en dos semanas. Me hospedare en casa de amigos que viven en Catarroja. Nunca he estado en esta region de Espana.

El primer tomo se llamaba "Desde La Cuna" y eran rimas y poemas, luego venia "erase una vez' que eran todos cuentos y luego Cuentos de Hadas. Cada libro evolucionaba un poco segun la edad. Mitos y leyedas era uno de los ultimos. La pasta era amarillo viejo. Alguien los recuerda? me puede decir como se llama la coleccion?
