Happily married with children and loving my life, I wouldn't change a thing.

  • What story has a woman sleeping with her husband's corpse?

I am trying to think of a story where there's a woman who has been behind for years on taxes because the city just leaves her alone. Something changes, or she dies, I can't remember, and when people go to look in her house they find a withered old body on the bed upstairs. It turns out to be her husband or something and she slept with it every night, as evidenced by a hair they found on the pillow or something. Can anybody please tell me the author & title? Thanks, it's killing me!

  • What is the song at the end of "Pay It Forward"?

There's an instrumental song that plays during the movie and again during the credits in the movie "Pay It Forward". Not the "calling all angels" one that plays at the end, the one during the credits. It sounds so familiar, like I've heard it during some TV show but I can't figure it out. It's driving me crazy since I saw the movie last week!

  • Has anybody ever had a vanishing twin?

I had some problems at the beginning of my pregnancy (I'm 17 weeks and fine now) so they did early ultrasounds to determine how far along I was and what might be wrong. The doctor said I was 5-6 weeks and that it looked like I may have conceived twins but was only carrying one, that the other may have miscarried VERY early and that was what caused my problems. He called it a vanishing twin, based on my uterus being somewhat misshapen (kind of lopsided) with what looked like a line across the middle of it. The baby's heartbeat was already strong and the next week things looked normal again and I haven't had any problems since.

Has anybody else had this happen?

  • Why are nasal sprays (such as Afrin) bad for pregnant women?

It's on my list of "DO NOT TAKE AT ALL while pregnant or breastfeeding" medicines, so I am curious what the effects are. Do they pose a risk to the fetus?

  • On ER, how did Morris end up with a child?

I watched the episode last night where morris gets accused of molestation, and granted I've missed bits and pieces of the last few episodes, HOW did he end up with a child? Was he a sperm donor? Totally confused here.

  • Who isn't fed up with credit card baloney?

I'm getting charged a $39 late fee (which I am refusing to pay or they'll lose my business) because the payment that I made EARLY posted less than 24 hours before the end of the previous "statement" period, so it applied to the balance but not to the "minimum balance due" for the next month. So I'm being penalized for their technicalities. This is about the 5th or 6th time I've had problems because of how long it took them to post my electronic payments!!! One time I requested it 3 days before my due date and it posted an hour after midnight on the due date and was "late". And don't forget the time when their system was down for a week and a half, conveniently right over my due date, so I wasn't able to log in and make the payment on time, so I called them before my due date and made sure they didn't charge me for their errors. These people have not gotten any late fees out of me yet and they're not gonna. Who else is fed up with their BS and wants to vent??!!?!

  • How do you make virgin daquiri & pina colada?

I have the "bacardi mixers" that you're supposed to just add ice and rum, but I'm making them virgin. What's the best way to balance the flavors to substitute the alcohol? The bottle says add water but that sounds kind of boring.

  • Pirates: Really bad eggs?

Okay, does anybody know the words to "pirates life for me" sung in pirates of the carribean?

Also, what's with the "really bad eggs" that jack sparrow keeps singing? Funny but I must have missed something.

  • How many moms take their babies back to the NICU to visit?

My son was in the NICU when he was just a few days old for severe jaundice and the nurses said to bring him back to visit whenever we were in town (2 hours away). He will be 1 year old next month, and I've taken him back to visit once and plan to do it again tomorrow since I'll be in town anyway. It must be rewarding to see the babies that make it and thrive, going on to live happy, healthy and rewarding lives because of the efforts of the doctors and nurses in those first few days, weeks or months. Especially with all the heartache and sorrow that inevitably must come with the job of caring for extremely premature babies. Any moms or NICU nurses/doctors with happy/inspiring stories of reunion to share?

  • Why are people so judgmental?

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ag1lY...

In the above question, a person said that the lady's marriage wouldn't last because Jesus wasn't in it. Who was she to decide? Why do people think that whatever their beliefs or lack thereof are, if you're against them you're bad? We've got a world full of so many differences and the free will to choose whatever we want, be it good or bad. Why waste time picking on other's faults when I'm sure our own haven't been solved? I have seen more instances of hateful comments on these pages, especially in the pregnancy section. I have also seen many thoughtful and caring answers and advice. What ever happened to "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything"?

  • Addicted to Lost Commercial?

Does anybody know where I can find the "addicted to Lost" commercial that aired during the superbowl? My sister is a total lost addict and she went to the bathroom right as the commercial came on and missed it. Current valid answers only please. I have tried several different links but they either expired or weren't really there.

  • Poppy seeds and breastfeeding?

Has anybody's breastfed baby had a reaction when you ate poppy seeds, like in an almond poppy seed cake or muffin? What was it? I'm curious because it may be the cause of my son's crankiness lately. Any ideas?

  • what is "curling"?

Can somebody explain to me what in the world this 'sport' of curling is in the olympics? The best I can figure is like what was said on Jay Leno, it's a tea kettle and broomsticks.

  • Why do babies grind their teeth?

My son has two front top teeth and one front bottom tooth and he grinds them together, it's such a horrible sound. Has anybody else experienced this? Did it ever stop? I have a 5 yr old who also grinds his teeth HARD, and I'm hoping that my baby won't continue to do so. Any feedback?
