I have been in medical imaging since 1992. I work in a free standing imaging center, and I have become a jack of all imaging trades. I perform x-rays, CT and MRI scans, ultrasounds, DEXA scans and mammograms. Most of the questions I answer have to do with these exams. I also tend to try to cite sources to back up what I say, since nobody on Y! Answers knows who I am or what I do for a living!
Caffeine headaches?
Does anybody else get headaches when you miss your usual, daily amount of caffeine? I drink a pot of coffee every morning, and, if I am unable to have that caffeine, by later in the day, I get severe headaches. On Thursday, I was fighting the flu, so I skipped my morning coffee. By 3 pm, I had a horrible headache, concentrated in the back of my head, which I could not get rid of. If I sneezed or coughed, it really shot pains in my head. Advil and Tylenol did not relieve it. My knees also got very achy, and the pain relievers did not help. These problems were unrelated to the flu, because prior to missing my caffeine, Advil did relieve my headache. Does anybody else experience this? If so, where are your headaches centered? Can you describe the headaches?

Don't you hate being put on hold and having to listen to THEIR music? Or am I the only one? I was on hold for my phone company for about 15 minutes today. I could have spent that 15 minutes in a more pleasing manner, if I hadn't been forced to listen to their crappy music! When they do that, you can't watch your TV or listen to your own music, or even have a decent conversation with someone, because you have this annoying sound in your ear.......Thoughts?

I had the lasik procedure done nearly 3 months ago. I am very happy with my results regarding my vision. But, since the procedure, I have had 3 styies....2 on my left lower lid and one on my right lower lid. Is this a coiincidence or have you also had this experience?

You just have to browse these questions to see how misinformed kids are today. Where are their parents? Have they stopped teaching sex ed. in school? When I was in 5th and 6th grade, they seperated the boys and girls and we had a big to-do in the auditorium, and we learned about our bodies. No wonder there is so much teen pregnancy....
