  • 2010 Toyota Corolla Tire Pressure Warning Light Stays On?

My 2010 Corolla has been running fine until last week when the tire pressure warning light turned on and off intermittently but has been staying on quite a bit lately.

The mechanic checked the tire pressure (all four tires) and saw nothing wrong. Could it be just a malfunctioned sensor that sent a false warning to the dashboard?

Is it just an annoyance and nothing more serious could become of it should we decide to keep driving and not have the car laid up on the garage ?

Please advise and thank you in advance for your insights.

  • One port, One DSL modem, 2 Desktop Computers?

Please pardon me if the question was asked before.

I have an ATT DSL Siemens modem with one Ethernet port. I would like to connect 2 computers to the one port. Is there a switch/splitter or device that will allow me to do that? If so, any brand that you can recommend.

Please note that I do not intend to connect both computers to the Internet to go online simultanously ( i believe a router will let me do that). Only one PC surfing at a time! I just do not want to plug and unplug the ethernet cable from the modem port every time we switch computers.

THANK YOU in advance for any advice, insight and guidance.

P.S. Both computers are set up side by side and sit next to the DSL modem.

  • Boeuf bourguignon in Paris?

Could you please recommend places in Paris for good and authentic boeuf bourguignon.

I was at one of the cafes in front of Jardin de Luxembourg and ordered this and saw through the mirror reflection that the cook in the kitchen was opening a can of boeuf bourguignon then heated it up.

Kinda reminded me of the scene from European Vacation with Chevy Chase!

  • How do you lock the steering column on a 2009 Corolla?

My old Camry only required the steering wheel to be turned approximately 180 degrees until a click was heard and it was locked.

  • United Airlines Seat Assignment Policy?

Why does United Airlines NOT allow their ticketed passengers to pre-slect and pre-assign their seats on line? Other airlines (AA, for example) offer that option.

I am travelling to Europe with a companion and do not wish to wait to be assigned our seats at the airport upon check-in (as specified on the United Web site) lest we have to sit seats apart. I actually witnessed a couple being separated rows apart due to this odd policy last year!

My keyboard is acting up. When I push the SHIFT ket to type a capital letter, I get an extra character in front of my intended character. For example, if I type a capital letter A using the shift key, I will get something looking like a capital I in front of the letter A : IA.

  • Does Bio-Rooter work?

The plumber tried to sell me an organic drain cleaner called Bio-Rooter. Does anybody have any experience (good or bad) with this product?

  • My bathtub abd bathroom sink were slow draining. The plumber came and turned on both faucets then declared?

.. that the toilet was OK as he did not see any bubble.

Could somebody knowledgeable explain the logic behind his method?

    Thank you very much!

I was at the gym three days ago riding on a stationary bicycle. Thirty minutes into the workout, my bladder was full but stupidly I held back and rode HARDER for the next thiry minutes. Afterward a sharp pain developed on my back (around the belt level and towards the right side near the hip). The pain still persists three days later :(

Did I do something to damage my kidney? Please advise and thank you in advance for any insight.

  • Most airlines would let you select your seats while booking tickets on-line but not United Airlines. Why ?

Most airlines would let you select your seats while booking tickets on-line. United Airlines won't pre-assign seats which will not guarantee that I will have a seat next to my friend, just a seat on the plane. Why such strict rules ? They are losing me as a customer !!
