Windows 8 verses camera

Full Text: Full Text: I now own a refurbished Dell Inspirion PC with Windows 8

I now also own an older Polaroid digital camera that has a CD softwear dic.

The PC won't accept the camera disc because it is NOT for Windows 8.

So I figured I could use my "Combo" USD-HUB to download my photos (on an SD card) from camera directly to PC. NOPE!!!

What do I need to do or get to solve my problem?

All I want to do is get my photos on my PC and am having a heck of a time doing so.

HELP PLEASE!!!!

By older, I mean 50+ years of age.

And if so, do you also drop in on the "Senior" area of Q&A?

I have installed the softwear & have PC case open but don't know where to insert the PCI adapter. I have a desk top pc by Dell with a tower. The instructions do NOT give any other info. HELP

If you owned a big "Samsung" flat backed tv, how close could you safetly put it to a 55 gal. aquarium? And if too close-how long would it take that water source to ruin said tv?

The tree was all covered with beautiful moss.

It grew great big meatballs and tomato sauce.

So if you eat spaghetti all covered with cheese,

Hold on to your meatball and don't ever sneeze.
