a very happily married woman

i live outside city limits in a town in Oklahoma. animal control won't go outside city limits. there is a dog that my neighbors let run free constantly. have had probs with it chasing my 16 year old son as he was walking home from a friend's house, attacked my brother's little dog next door, and this evening he came in my yard and attacked my dog that was on a chain. when i called the police (when he chased my son) i was told i have the right to protect my family and my property. that was all. i don't want to shoot this dog. i will to protect my family. however if there is any other way i would rather go another route. so can i legally go through the courts or something and force them to tie their dog up? i have talked to them repeatedly about the dog and all they do is defend it and say he isn't dangerous. she even texted me on the phone and said her dog must have been defending himself when he attacked my dog while ago even though my dog was on a chain in my yard. when u answer remember i'm outside city limits so the laws are different...i can't just call animal control cause they won't do anything. i would really like an attorney's opinion on this if possible or at least someone who has had a similar experience or something...i'm getting really desperate. i'm not an animal hater but no matter how many times i tell these people their dog is intimidating they defend it and act like it won't hurt anyone. any dog will attack if not raised properly. this is a pit. i have nothing against pits as i have one myself but i know that if a pit attacks it's hard to get him loose. by the way it was my pit (much older than theirs and very gentle) that he attacked and yes he's ok...just hurt his hind leg a little. point is it could have been much worse or even could have been a child. please help with any ideas.

my neighbors are letting their dog run loose. he is intimidating people and he chased my 16 year old son. we normally get along with these people but we have asked them to do something with their dog. we even asked their landlord to talk with them. today when he chased my son i tried to call them but they didn't answer so i called their landlord again. he called them so she came to my house and informed me she would not tie up her dog. we got in kind of an argument and she left. i have dogs that i tie up out of respect cause i know they intimidate people. they have a pit and i have a pit plus 2 more dogs so it isn't that i have something against pits. since we live outside city limits they don't have to tie up their dog so what are my legal rights? i'm afraid the dog might bite someone but i would like to keep that from happening...so any ideas?

i had the opportunity to see them and they are awesome...just wondered if anyone else out there has seen them?

if u read my last question u know i was recently diagnosed. one of the worst symptoms i have though is my throat closing up. it feels closed up pretty much all the time. there is no pain so i know it isn't strep throat or anything like that but i feel like when i eat i'm going to choke on my food. any suggestions on how to get rid of this one particular symptom. i'm skinny enough so i really need to eat but am i doomed to just soft foods until i get better? ty so much everybody who has helped me through this so far. u guys are really great!

i was recently diagnosed with anxiety attacks. they are very scary. anyway doc prescribed atenolol but i was higher than a kite all day the next day. i am a working mother and wife. i can't take stuff that makes me feel like that. anyone else have the same prob with the med and also i need ideas on how to deal with these. will they last the rest of my life or can they eventually go away? i was also told to try to locate my triggers. it would seem they would happen when i'm stressed but actually they happen when i am driving down the road or relaxing at home--basically when i am least stressed. why is this? only serious answers plz. thank u

I am a 34 year old woman who has had 2 c-sections and my tubes tyed and burnt. i have periods every 2 to 3 weeks. i have been experiencing mood swings worse than normal. i am a working wife and mother. my life is stressful. i was recently diagnosed with anxiety attacks. my latest attack included difficulty breathing, uncontrolable body shakes, an out of it feeling, and a hot flash that didn't go away. that was when i was diagnosed with anxiety attacks. is it possible that menopause is causing these attacks or am i just losing my mind? what are some symptoms of menopause. docs keeping telling me i'm too young for menopause but i don't believe them. anyone else with anything like this please give me input or any docs please answer my question. only serious answers please. thanks

i have 2 children both by c-section. ever since i had my children i have a problem with vaginal dryness. can anyone suggest a good personal lubricant? we have tried k-y but it is kind of sticky. i need one that feels more natural. any suggestions would be appreciated. thanx

i have answered a few questions in the gay category and my question is this. why is it that christians won't accept the fact that someone is gay? i mean isn't christianity about bringing people to know and love God? u don't have to like the fact that someone is gay but acceptance is part of being a good Christian. loving everyone just as God loves u. although u are a Christian doesn't mean u are not a sinner. that is why u are a Christian because God died on the cross to save your soul so why are u putting people down just because u don't agree with who they are? maybe u should try to understand them instead. God loves everyone not just the perfect people.
