does anyone know if low income parents in michigan are offered funding to return to college? if yes where would i look for this information?

I am contemplating filing for bankruptcy as my bills have gotten out of control since my son got sick and I had to take a job making less an hour. I have questions that I am hoping someone will know the answers to before I call a lawyer and get charged for answers. what happens when I file for taxes for the 2009 year if I file for bankruptcy? can I continue to work and if I do, what will happen to the money I earn? is it mandatory to use this to pay back debts? can a credit union personal loan be included in a bankruptcy if it is unsecured? can I file and choose not to add my car payment to what I am filing? any answers to my questions would be great...i am just so confused on what to do and I have no money to work with for all the bills I have.

I am trying to find out what the rules are in michigan for upgrading a child from an infant seat to a front facing car seat. does the child have to be 1 year and over 20 lbs, or is the weight restriction enough? my son has already passed this weight restriction and I am trying to see if he has to be a year old as well.

I would like to know how I can contact mdot to file a complaint about the construction being done on I94 in michigan. They have a lack of signs posted as to lane closures and I have been late for work 3 times this week as they have randomly chosen times to close down specific lanes. One day they are open, one day they are closed and it is never posted which days the lanes will be closed. I am just curious who i can contact about this. I have been to the michigan government website, but their complaints for mdot are for transportation services only. I am confused, is this who I file through or is there another area?

my husband has applied to numerous jobs that have denied him the position because they are not willing to wait for me to find a daycare center for our 3 year old daughter. every time I search online, i am unable to find a good link for daycare centers in my area. does anyone know a good daycare center that is inexpensive to join in macomb county so that my husband may get a job?

i am looking for the records to a house I want to purchase. mainly the records that show what permits were acquired for the land and tax information and what bank owns the property currently so I can determine the property's value. Where would I look to access this information and can I get it online? Also, is this free public records or would I pay for this information?

I am trying to get the address for blockbusters main office. they are trying to charge me almost 50 dollars for movies that i returned in the drop box and their employees lost. I was called once by the company to say that I owed them the movies I already returned. then my name was immediately sent to a credit bureau. I am so angered I am going to cancel my account and would like to inform the head company of how terrible the business and customer service is. I am looking for the address to that main office to complain. i know if I go to the small store, my complaint will never reach large people. any ideas?

my parents land is being sectioned off by the village they live in. the village is stating that they have done a land survey and found that almost 20 feet of my parents property belongs to the village. my parents have lived there for 20+ years and never had a problem. now the village has posts and equipment all over the lawn and never informed my parents of any of this. what websites can I go to for information on if this is legal? I tried michigan.gov, but it had nothing useful. They are even telling my parents that some of the fencing in my parents yard may have to be removed so they can expand the village park my parents land buts up to.
