To be fair - I never wanted children, and that was a top reason for him starting a relationship with me. But after getting pregnant, everything changed. He told me he would be supportive of my decision - that it was mine to make, but he continually makes comments about how I don't care what he wants and how he can do whatever he wants in our marriage because I did. We love each other - and we both love our children, but I can't live with his resentment and anger anymore.

I have several empty plastic mini-greenhouses that I left on my uncovered porch. Although it's only May, the inner pieces warped in the sun before I even planted in them. Now that I have seeds starting, is it too hot for the seedlings in moist dirt in the same location? I have virtually no space inside. Should I bring them in until they sprout or are they ok outside with their plastic covers on?

I am stepmom to a wonderful little boy, aged 7, with mild cerebral palsy. It was told to his father and I by his physician the following two things: He must wear his orthotic brace everyday so that he may eventually get better and not need to wear it any longer as an adolescent. We were also told something similar regarding his glasses - that if he wears them everyday all day - his vision may correct itself. The child's mother and primary caretaker has also been told these things, but she refuses to make the child wear either the brace or his glasses. We recently confronted her about these issues in a non-threatening way, and she was still extremely defensive and denied everything. The child's grandparents and school teachers have all said something to the mother, but nothing has been done. I don't want to get into a nasty family fight, but I care deeply about this child's well being and I would like to help anyway I can. Is there anything to be done to make her be a PARENT?

We had his kids stay with us for the summer this year and their mother payed us no support. We had them for three months and had to pay child care costs of course. I love his children dearly, but the situation put us into a serious financial mess and we are still trying to keep our head above water because we weren't financially equipped to take them on with no support. I know he can't claim them as a dependant - we didn't have them long enough, but is there some releif from paying their childcare if we have the receipts? I'll take any help I can get.

I had the vaccination a week ago, and although the soreness and stiffness typical of vaccines has gone away, I have a hard lump under my skin at the injection site. Has anyone else experienced this? I've never had it before with the plain tetanus vaccination. Thanks for your input.

We have tried everything! We've used time out, taken away special outings, toys, TV or game priveledges. His father is old-school, so we've even used spanking when appropriate. Nothing seems to get to him! He just stares at us and smiles. He's been spitting in people's faces in daycare, and he's done it to his mother and I as well (i'm step-mom). We're all at wits end with this boy and don't know what to do! Has anyone else been through this?

He said it in anger and frusteration, which only makes it worse in my eyes. I can't bring myself to speak to him right now. ow can I address it in a calm manner without ripping his head off which is what I'd really like to do?

His beautiful two children 6 & 7, have moved in with us. We've known this was coming for two months now, and have taken steps to find a proper daycare for them while we're at work. I did all the research, prepared all the paperwork, even shelled out some money to help out to pay for it. However, becuase he procrastinated, the daycare is full and now we have no where to put the children for a week. It's been taken care of now, they're staying with a friend of ours, but I just want to smack him! Those kids are getting tossed around enough having to move in with us (mom is temporarily out of the picture) and to have them stay with someone else for a week!?!?! I just needed to vent that. Thanks - feel free to offer any encouragement or comments.

I am selling new snowboarding equipment as a lot. This includes pants, jacket, goggles, boots, bindings, helmet and the board. If I ship to US only - what do you feel is a fair price for shipping? Is $150 too much for the lot? I can't make it to the post office to weigh it before I have to post it. Any suggestions?

My grandmother used to make a peanut butter, bacon, tomato and mayonnaise sandwich on toasted white bread. I would never eat it. Have you heard of this? Any other strange sandwich combinations you've heard of?
